Considering the Dodge brothers worked for Henry Ford before starting their own company, it's not heinous that you have Ford parts on a Mopar.

When US vehicles are imported to the UK, if the reverse lights are near the brake/marker lights, they have amber bulbs fitted and are converted into turn signals like this. On cars where they are near the licence plate (limos), amber lights are fitted to the bumper.

For a reverse light, I have typically drilled some holes on the bottom bumper and used some implement lights. They tell people you’re backing up, and the light up well in the dark.

good video!! reminds me of my 73 Dodge Sno-Fighter, short box, smooth-side, mine was a leaning tower of power, w/a 3spd man with a granny low gear and 4.89 axle gears, that truck could push a mountain, but couldn't get much over 63mph. I miss that old truck

Dylan this has been a nice diversion for me as well a journey into my past having had use of a D100 in the very late 70's. I believe it was 3-on-the-tree though. Also I am sure my D100 wasn't a Step-Side. He cranked over and started in such a unique manner that once you knew how to do so, Wa-La, he came to life and was stout and dependable all the day long. You rested in the shade of Rump at the end here under the 'Custom/D100' badge and now with FoMoCo tail lamps signaling thru the backup lens there is no arguing this D100 is Customized. Also stop the rust and patch a hole here and there, spray a clear finish you have a fine rescue worth being proud to own and drive. Thanks for your series on this truck, nice having been a spectator.

That Bible verse truly fits here - your are reviving these left behind cars, & gearheads appreciate that. I'm going to overlook those dang ferd, I mean Ford taillights - you said you were doing this on a budget, & as long as the lights do what they're supposed to do, no one should complain. But they will, because it makes them feel good about themselves. And you can count me as a fan of the wheel/tire combo: again, the price is right, & a little scrubbing will make them look even better. And matching tires makes Rump feel better in handling, braking, & steering - win/win! Good job - the Rump Road Trip is not too far in the future, I'm sure.

On a more serious note I found "Junk yard digs" and saw you guys get that old Plymouth running and subscribed to Kevin's channel, then I found Luke's channel to be very valuable as I need his carb skills to get my trans am back running again after 23 years in my garage. I finally subscribed to your channel today and I just want to say for a couple of millennial kids you guys are pretty cool. Your not out modifying stupid Hondas or Toyota's, you guys remind me of when I was young fixing and building old school American V8 60's and 70's muscle cars with my buddy's and for that I commend all three of you, and you seem to be really decent kids as well. Keep the content coming and I will continue to support you guys...stay safe

Dylan, maybe go with Rustoleum Orange on the body once you weld some metal in the spots it needs it []be cool to box in the frame]. Paint both bumpers Rustoleum White and everything else Orange Rsutoleum then clear it. Leave the reare passenger side fender lumpy but clean the rust and put some rustoleum on it lol Rumpkin is such a perfect name for it. Who was the sponser that sent you the bumpers for the Challenger? Maybe get a couple of period correct bumpers and paint them white and everything else [save the grill that is] Rustoleum, plastic kids tractor Orange. So COOL!! lol Take it on Power Tour with the other guys next time. ;-) Loving this series!

I inherited my dads custom D150 with the slant six. big tree branch fell on her smashed her bed and the cab. I think I can save the cab I hope. But need to get that slant 6 running first hasn’t started in years.

Personally, I'd flip the tail lights facing down. Meaning, I'd see about putting the light so that the Reverse light is closer to the ground. But since they'll become amber turn signals leave em. Wire in a reverse spot light perhaps on its own ?

2156 na bulb would be what you need. I would look around for the same tail light that has a side marker built into the side, I believe the Jeep CJ’s have them.
