Love this concertina journal! Your reckless abandon style is very freeing! Please say a prayer and send good thoughts for my CAG. He managed to open the food door of his garden aviary yesterday. We have searched every hour of light and then some, to no avail. We miss him terribly. I tried to be creative tonight, but all I could do was stamp birds and branches.

I love the see-saw. That's what we called it when I was a kid in KY. I rode with my best friend and we never got off and let each other get crashed to the ground. I would never have rode it with my brother! He would have tried to crash me any way he could! He was ornery when we were kids!! I love this Concertina Folder!! Cool idea!

Fun! I can’t wait to use this idea. We called it a teeter-totter when I was a kid. Funny story... I have a friend (adult with grown kids) whose name is Todd, and who was having a conversation with a very precocious 6 yo little boy named Sawyer. Sawyer pipes up and declares “I’m gonna call you Teeter Todder!” Without missing a beat, Todd responded, “Well, then I’m gonna call you See Sawyer!” Lol! I love that story! 😂

Hello Pam, Here in California, in the San Joaquin Valley, in a little town called Manteca, when I was growing up we called it a teeter totter! And yes you have to watch out for older boys and girls who would dump you off the teeter totter by jumping off when they were at the bottom! Thank you so very much for this very innovative project. And yes keep and collect stamps, you never know when they will disappear for good. Mary at Hart Lane Studio

My friends who like to go to the Casino were given the used decks. They are only used a few times then replaced, so there's always a good supply if perfectly usable cards from all of the tables. We took a couple of techs and pulled out the cards from the 9's ,the face cards and the faces to make pinochle decks, speechless have plenty of leftover card decks. I saved about 3 of them. I came careofvthem whilecunpackibg with my love. I made some clusters and put them into the cards after sanding and adding gesso or a thin film of white acrylic paint. They are nice. Playing cards are perfect for so many things

You just tickle me to pieces. Thanks again for another idea for added writing places. Postage stamps really are fun to decorate pages with. We called that thing a "teetertotter". I am in Florida now as well. I grew up in Illinois and we called it a teeter-totter. I was in 4th grade and small for my age, but friends with a girl who was big for her age. She once bounced her side off the ground really hard and I bounced off the teeter totter, but my arm got caught in the bar that you hang on to. I hung there and twisted my shoulder. Thankfully nothing broken. These are amazing!!! I am going to make one of these today.

I’ve got inspired by your video. I’ve cut out of white card 6 pieces of size of playing cards and taped them together into concertina folder. I used micropore tape. Then I glued together backs of 2nd and 3rd card and backs of 4th and 5th cards. On the fronts I glued old photo portraits of young ladies - the result is mini photo album. I’m already thinking of buying black card and creating another album with nicer old style B&W photos - it will be great to add it to junk journals.

I just found your channel about a month ago. I love the way you craft for "real". I have to say I don't make many comments on KZread but I have a cat named Inky, who LOVES this video because you sing her name. So whenever I need to find her I just play this video and she comes running, if she's awake. Hahaha

Another great idea and a must-try!! thank You, Pam. A TIP Of The Day: our local library has a free book grab of old unwanted books. Great way to get some free materials for Junk Journals. I and My daughter just stocked up on word snippets, Vintage picture snippets and plenty of pages to make envelopes, pull-outs, and etc.. Never turn down a free deal. =) Have a wonderful and creative day. This weekend is Junk Therapy at the craft table.

Great idea! I have tons of old playing cards and I was using them for ATCs. This is a creative way to use up more than one at a time. OMG! Inking the wrong side of the stamp is so you, Pam! Sniffing too much glue! LOL! We called it both teeter totter and see saw in VA where I grew up. TFS the inspiration!

Hey Neighbor 😊! You getting 'hi' over there on the glue fumes, huh?! Lol, you are a riot! On that stamp you thought was Romania, there was a P. P in front of the R, so 🤔 no go on the ....Mania part. Seeing what you did with the four playing cards, I guess you can almost use pretty much what you want in your junk journal, huh? Well... I enjoyed your quirkiness 😊❤️as always! Can't wait for your next video... Take care, Neighbor.

I have been wanting to do something with some of the beautiful Taro cards that are art work in themselves. I think this will be what I do..Thank you! And, I can only speak for myself, but I have "perfectly painted" (lol) nails, and I am super jealous of those of you who can craft with reckless abandon!!! Actually, it's not about wrecking my nails for me, it's that my hands have to be presentable for work...but when I retire.....HaHa....you will never see my hands unstained again.....Thank you again for this and all your videos!

This is the 1st video of yours that I have watched. I had lots of fun watching it. I really liked it when your birds joined you in chorus. It reminded me of the bird in our house when I was a kid' he'd give my mom a wolf whistle when she'd come into the dining room to take his cage cover off. We called it a teeter totter in Minnesota. Thank you so much for the uplifting video.
