I honestly didn't get the whole altered card thing until watching both Nina's and yours. I am in love with what you've done here Kylie. Your use of colour always amazes me as I'm so afraid of it. Thanks to watching you,I'm coming out my comfort zone. I can see me making these now as they are nice little projects to do for experimenting with techniques and colour. Great video as always x x x

Kylie - your spirit of creative freedom - experimenting - building color and texture - not caring if a layer shows up in the end - invites my mind and heart to playing and letting go instead of holding tightly to each layer. Hooray! That's the spirit I'm trying to grow into - not just in craft - but in all of life. Also - I have tons of business cards (3.5 x 2) - and tissue and paint - and - well - this is a delightful way for me to spend time. You always inspire me, Kylie. Love your layers! I have to laugh when I see videos about using up your scraps because I always end up with a ton of scraps when I make something. But it’s ok because that’s the nature of creating 😊❤️

Ah, the Positivity Deck! I love the cards I made and I have to say that project really opened me up as an artist-also the Creative Affirmation cards. That scrap thing! I save so many pieces now and that is pretty much something I picked up from you and Nina! I love watching you work, the intuitive creative process is so freeing. Oh yeah... I Also liked the use of tissue paper for a base. I'm used to sanding my cards so this was a nice idea if I'm out of sanding paper lol 😆😜🥰

Thanks so much Stefanie. I used to always sand the cards and the dust seemed to get everywhere plus it made me cough. This way is much quicker and it gives me texture too. Thanks again :)

These are wonderful! Love the texture, love the colors you chose, too! The stamps gave each its own personality 😀. I always trim excess paper to have straight edges, but I think I might try some like this. The addition of the white, while a small thing, had a big impact!! I had a nice chuckle when you talked scraps. They seem always to multiply!!!! TFS. I did. God bless and stay safe.

Lol Leigh - if there was a law that said the scraps from scraps should go in the bin then I'd be quite happy with that (... well possibly) but until then I'll keep on hoarding! I love love the steampunk copper patina style color combinations you used here!! I especially loved the final touches of white paint pen and the different stamps to finish it off! Brilliantly created!! I just made a thank You card from playing cards with the Alice in wonderland theme for a customer I wonder if it would be ok to share it in your group??
