Awesome job! What great help and giving back to newer members Jay! And the excitement in this carnage 🤣🤣 One thing I have learned also to think of: when doing young juniper initial styling- if your looking at a branch and thinking’I don’t want this branch, but it would be a good area for a jin’ - yet it’s way to immature to do so: let it be and grow, tie a little red ribbon on it as a visual reminder that ‘red=future dead’ 💀💀💀🤣🤣🤣

"allegedly" lol Welcome to the hobby Aaron! Nice but a slightly awkward feeling seeing my plants showcased as they've got nothing on anyone else's bonsai yet! Going to thin out branches on the juniper when I'm more confident and possibly when it's grown a bit more. Still need to do research! Good job on Aaron's juniper today though, definitely taught me some things about branch selection and left and right pruning on them :) - Ashley Bonner

When you're pruning these on a side branch, left, right, left, right is great. On the main trunk line, remember to mix back branches in there. Left, back, right, left, back, right. Otherwise, when you try to fill in the back later by bending one of those side branches back, it'll interrupt your flow, perhaps in ways you won't want as the tree develops.
