i think that was my last JESC unfortunately

1. France did a Poland a few years back (much more deserved victory despite losing her voice). 2. Spain was just robbed. So close. 3. Armenia missed out on giving France another 2021 trauma (finishing 3rd). 4. The UK played as expected. 5. Well performed for Ukraine. The televote did them justice. 6. Poland just needed another win, but missed out on top 5 again. 7. Nothing wrong with the Netherlands. The others just performed better. 8. We failed Albania as we did in their senior counterpart. Viola chose Violence. 9. Missed out the top half by 8 points, but Germany did better this time, giving Germany better hopes. 10. Rounding up the top 10, Yulan made Malta stronger and better than what Gaia Gambuzza did. 11. Missed out the top 10, Italy is stuck in the middle. But avoiding last place is the only thing I still don't understand. 12. North Macedonia got the bottom 5? That's ridiculous. 13. Portugal just flopped, although not on Júlia Machado's fault. 14. Georgia matched their worst place for the second time after 2019, missed out on the top 10 for the third time, and the bottom 3 as well. 15. Not an ideal place for Estonia as the debutant this year. 16. Ireland's hope shattered after finishing last. Even Sophie Lennon couldn't help Jessica McKean getting more points.

For my first year of JESC, can someone try to convince me to keep following this show? Because France seems to keep winning. And that gets boring, like I'm already bored after hearing the results and the past winners. I'm not being negative to any winners or contestants but patterns are starting to pop up and it's getting kinda suspicious

france deserved to win this year, but i am noticing a pattern throughout the years in jesc, a bias for france. of course, it wasn't because of that this year, it very much deserved to win, but what happened to the netherlands? every poll with tens of thousands of people, voting on what would win, had netherlands winning it, with france just 2-4% behind, and then there are j'imagine, and oh maman, which are not really bad songs, but there were many better songs to win those years. it seems jesc is a lot more unfair than esc, they need to diversify their jury, because this year was just like sweden and people started hating and being toxic on loreen's social medias and etc(they were deleted by moderation), and i really dont want that for kids like zoe and lissandro, who already recieved some but it was heavily censored and moderated. people are probably not going to express their feelings on this because jesc is for kids, so ofc, and esc is for adults so they can get over it, but they have to see this. i even saw this in tic tac, which was, in my opinion(as a frenchie) not really fantastic, but still got a lot of exposure because its from france, just like sweden in esc. if it came from a country like north macedonia, it would surely get a minimum of 50 points, from jury and televote combined, same way as if tattoo was from a country like latvia, not very talked about in the esc/jesc fandom, it would also get low points even with it's quality, and cases such as ESPECIALLY sweden 2017(which i did like but others hate for some reason) which have made it like every swedish entry is boosted because its from sweden not because of it's quality. anyways, congrats to zoe! tldr: france deserved to win, but it is the same type of pattern as sweden in esc, and feelings are suppressed because it is a kids contest. toxicity comes into this, given to the winner from people who very much rooted for another country.

I was happy to see Spain do well. A second year of armenia and France in second and first would have been weird. Also, netherlands surprisingly low at 7th two years in a row…. I personally wasn’t a fan of coeur (13th place for me) cause it seems vary bland to me. Spain was more playful and had more character, Armenia was way more unique and polished, netherlands was a straight up bop and could even be played on the radio without batting an eye, same with uk.

There's no favouritism though. If you send quality then you get what you deserve. Valentina was clearly a favourite, and despite oh maman not being one, he still served a well deserving winner performance, full of charisma and every moment being memorable. France just knows how to jesc.

The pattern: countries licking the ass of France TV since 2020 cause francetv president is the president of the EBU. Luckily, it ends in 2024 cause there will be a new president before JESC. You can't tell the juries are unfair. Albania got 12 points, Italy as well. Even if we only had televote, France would still win

France - another undeserved victory :)

I didn't like any of the French winning songs. They won thanks to juries, not the public.

Surely not in a few years at least. Next year the president of the EBU will be a different one, not the actual french who is gonna go home after new elections, and they won't be able to rigg it
