Bulgaria, Slovenia, Georgia, and Ukraine are such emotional songs. Both winner and runner up of 2014 are great songs. Also, I cannot help but laugh at that transition from Serbia to Serbia and Montenegro. My country really said now that we blew them away with soccer, lets show them we can do ballads too. Both Nevena and Marija slayed that year.

Poland got last on their debut AND the year after with the same exact points
It's an accomplishment (and still hilarious) when Germany (and Ireland) has their best recent Eurovision result ever not because of the adults' edition, but the Junior one. 😂😍♥️ Update 26/01/2024: It looks like Germany at this rate will hold their best ESC result by the JESC 2023 song after listening their NF songs, while Ireland...Let's see how well it goes tonight

For the case of the latter two they were playing harder since 2022 in adult ESC. And Georgia finally stepped up in the adult contest in 2023 (even if robbed and NQ), although the Junior counterpart was not of the same level...@@byJannik
Azerbaijan was really good, she deserved more than 5th, i think

2021 was a pretty strong year. A lot of countries deserved top 5 and only 5 can actually make it.

Denmarks best result would've been in 2006 if they competed with SEB "Tro På Os To". It would 100% had won JESC.
I feel bad for Latvia - best result being their debut, never done better since 😢

@@kafanijemrtvait’s not just most recent win. Look at Belarus, pretty sure it’s actually most points, which for most countries with multiple wins happens to be their most recent.
