my friend jimmy rasta turned me on to junior brown when I was in prison in Texas about 20 years ago. they use to play his music on this local radio show that we could pick up in the joint. I'd never heard of junior but my friend was familiar with him and we would almost always get at least 1 junior brown song a week on this program that was dedicated to musicians from texas. long live am radio

Absolutely love this montage of classic songs. Chills went up and down my spine when he transitioned into Apache (if my memory serves me right) then further diversifying the 60s even beyond the surf sounds without ever losing the surf momentum. While going to concerts doesn't appeal to me anymore, If this man and his band came to my town, I'd unearth the classic Futurama/Fry quote, "Shut up and take my money!!"

I think Junior could use a lever/rocker mounted near his wrist that would lift that piece like he's doing so awkwardly. He could just lean his hand on it to lift the piece... no arm or shoulder needed. This from a non-player, but it seems so easy to remedy.

I was thinking the exact same thing. I guess it's more of a style/trademark for Jr. to do it the way he does. If he ever wanted to do a custom term bar, there are probably 20 companies that would be proud to make it to his specifications for free.
