I’m a huge fan of surf music and Junior does a fantastic job 🌴‼️🏄🏼🌊

Sure wish he would a show in North Dakota. Such an artist!

He also knew how to "Pick" a beautiful wife.

I am at my desk at work but if I weren't I'd be go-go dancing up a storm to this mastery, and I'm a Gen X'er!

Man I've been a big fan of JB since the early 1990's. This is so cool

@5:25 - Imagine looking at a set list that jumps from "Apache" by the Shadows, to "Malaguena," to "The Wind Cries Mary" by Hendrix, to "Secret Agent Man" by Johnny Rivers in just under 90 seconds, and makes it all sound like it goes together. You wouldn't believe it if he hadn't just played it!

The wife and I saw Jr. at the Continental Club in Austin bout 4 years ago. Had a pretty good time. Visited with him backstage.

Well, he may be aging, but his country-infused surf is still unique in the genre.

I was at the show and Junior was in fine form!!

my friend jimmy rasta turned me on to junior brown when I was in prison in Texas about 20 years ago. they use to play his music on this local radio show that we could pick up in the joint. I'd never heard of junior but my friend was familiar with him and we would almost always get at least 1 junior brown song a week on this program that was dedicated to musicians from texas. long live am radio

An oldy, having fun with oldies.

We were also there, and enjoyed quite a bit. Stayed at same hotel, but thought it inappropriate to address them. Four shows in three days? I bet they were worn out.

One of the 1st songs I put on my iPod back in the day was Junior Brown's Surf Medley.

GOT TO LOVE IT!!!!

Absolutely love this montage of classic songs. Chills went up and down my spine when he transitioned into Apache (if my memory serves me right) then further diversifying the 60s even beyond the surf sounds without ever losing the surf momentum. While going to concerts doesn't appeal to me anymore, If this man and his band came to my town, I'd unearth the classic Futurama/Fry quote, "Shut up and take my money!!"

The back end was The Wind Cries Agent Man. Lol

🎉best performer ever , Terry I don't know how you do it so well it must be the Red Sox ,I've listened to many many hours of you and really enjoy your individual style ,

JB is amazing. He played in a town near me last year and I missed the show. Hope he comes back!

I've seen Junior many times over the decades. I've heard him play Hawaiian but never heard this creative little medley played like this , he is incredibly creative.

I think Junior could use a lever/rocker mounted near his wrist that would lift that piece like he's doing so awkwardly. He could just lean his hand on it to lift the piece... no arm or shoulder needed. This from a non-player, but it seems so easy to remedy.

I was thinking the exact same thing. I guess it's more of a style/trademark for Jr. to do it the way he does. If he ever wanted to do a custom term bar, there are probably 20 companies that would be proud to make it to his specifications for free.
