Gitsteel baby..Junior Brown never disappoints..you wanna talk under rated this man is legit.

I saw him and his band in Austin in summer 2016. Seeing and hearing him do magic in a club with standing room only. He was playing through a Fender Twin Reverb. Cranked to about eleven. Dust was coming off the brick walls. Best concert I ever saw. After the show I shook his hand, and he called me sir. I laughed, because I felt like a little kid meeting one of my guitar heroes...

I once opened for Junior. My claim to fame! He got off his tour bus to check out our group. The club manager said he'd never seen him do that... made me feel good.

@@SDPBALLCOACH 'Pull my Finger' (Sounds like a punk band, but we were a jazz band. I think that's what piqued his interest. His drummer, a jazz player too, complimented us after our set. He played a snare and a ride cymbal...period. But he made tons of music with that severely abbreviated set.)

That's way cool. Guys like this are priceless.. I got my dad's 100 yr. Old Gibson Mandolin, I need to find a guy who'll give me lessons. I really wanna "get after it" on that thing!!😉

You can barely see it in the video, but Junior performed that entire medley atop a surfboard in a lap pool. He's a national treasure.

Completely agree. I first saw him about 20 years ago and I swear, I went through every single emotion in the first 10 minutes of him playing. I was absolutley floored. Many will say they've heard the name, but they don't know. Glad to see he is still in fine style.

Saw him and his band about 25 years ago at the Black Swamp Arts Fest in Bowling Green, Ohio. Good show.

He does those surf songs so much justice. Fantastic.

I love this guy, such a creative talent, killer style, sense of humor, rhythmic and melodic prowess, fantastic entertainer.

I love the California surf sound. I'd say he has it mastered. He always has a suit and the cowboy hat. I'd love to see him live.

What a great talent and showman . Let us not forget his band they do so much to back Junior . He could hire anybody to fill those much needed spots . His wife just strums away to all the mad bending string tweeking husband . I got to see Junior one year at the Fox Theater in St. Louis , I got my money's worth to see him weil away on the guit - steel . 08/05/2022

I saw JB at a dinner theater in Dana Point in the early 2000s. He had 2 dimed Silverface Twins, wrapped in sound blankets (small venue). There was a drunk woman near the stage who kept passing him notes (requests, whatever). At one point he read the note which said "UNWRAP YOUR AMPS." Junior said in his inimitable manner "Ma'am, these amps are wrapped for your protection!"

I’ve seen him live several times. He starts off too loud, and the whole show is a crescendo from there. He’s on a mission to find “13” on his amps…

I was first turned on to Junior by a very nerdy woman I knew from work. I listened to be polite, and oculd never stop. He's a miracle

I never did hear if it was recovered, saw 3-4 videos he did last year with the borrowed one and he mentioned that he was waiting on two new replacement guitsteels being built.

Glad to see Junior Brown back on his feet. I saw him in 2019 and he wasn't looking healthy.

I saw him at the beginning of September opening for Old Crow Medicine Show and he was using a walker to come out saying that he had broken a hip pretty recently. At the end of the show he carried the walker off over his head so hopefully he's recovering well and has a lot of great shows ahead of him. I'd never heard of him before and was very impressed, he made a new fan that night for sure.

Damn Junior. Flexing that bridge with his fingertips for tremolo. Wicked.

I've been in the same band since 2004. Work regular, few lineup Changes over the years. Me, singer, bass player stuck fat over time. That little look to the left and right by boss man to finish up is so intuitive. But God 3 minutes into a song and we're all looking at him like puppies waiting for that look.
