Omg! Seriously once all this Covid bs has calmed down can we please organise a mass old skool rave somewhere. Best days ever! I'm 54 now and got into this all from '87. Love it. Went from happy harcore to dnb then to jungle. Loved Jungle but hated some of the people it attracted. They Harder they Come, Stonebridge 93'. Wow! Oh wow! Still have the sepia flyer with all the crew dressed up in cowboy gear! This was ours, the UK's. Rest of the world tried to follow us but nah. It was our, it is ours, will always be ours. Have to arrange a mass rave for two reasons. Firstly to show the young bloods how it's done and that it's not about fighting and killing. It's about love and the music. Secondly we have to give Skibz a good send off. Peace and Love. What it's all about. Always was x

44 now and only got my own decks and started collecting old skool jungle about 2 years ago. I've been listening to dnb since the mid nighties and it's the only one for me. My collection is now worth about 2k and I'm not stopping. Recently got Black by SS. For me personally the best tune ever written. Love the music love the vibe. Big up all old skool ravers. Peace love and unity. It's a way of life.

That's brilliant mate. You can't beat this era of dance music, nothing has come close. I still have the same passion for vinyl too. I had that Black tune but it's one I lent out many years ago and never got back! Some of these tunes are worth a lot these days.

yer man kool wid the k on the 945 im old enough to have been there and heard the birth of jungle, my first rave was ratpack hackney wick disused sowing machine warehouse october 1988 and the rest is history big up all the hardcore jungle massive 😎

Hey you still can find solid stuff today. Just need to filter out that mainstream commercial stuff and dig deeper. Just a couple examples - Deep Jungle Records, Vibez 93 release lots of bangers in that era style. ;)
