The garden is looking good. Liz. I visited San Diego once and while driving in a residential neighborhood, I had to stop and admire the front yard of one house. The entire front grounds were covered in huge succulents and outside an Asian lady was watering it all with her hose. Now that lady had a spectacular garden and made me think, only in California!

Hello silverdawninTx yes, you are so right. Succulents grow so good in California. I agree sometimes just succulents in the garden are spectacular. So much variety, textures and colors. I probably would’ve stopped and taken. Lots of pictures as well. @@GardenHappy I am a senior citizen much older than you and when the weather heats up Texas , I will be in summer hibernation mode. I was born and raised in New Orleans and moved to Texas in 1999. New Orleans has its own special gardens as well with lots of tropical plants. All the hanging "moss" on the trees in City Park was always nice to see. Happy gardening.

Well, I am a senior citizen too, 61 years old so I am probably in the same mindset as you. Wow that hanging moss sounds very beautiful. You definitely have lived in tropical and warm areas. They are called Purple Shamrocks. I have them potted. I’ve never anyone with them and grew them from seeds. They grow tall and huge! 💜

You have so many blooms! I like that term THUG. In my garden the thug is the vinca major. I cleared one fairly large area of it and now have space for a new more shaded garden. I'm still deciding exactly what to plant- maybe hydrangeas and geraniums and let my yesterday, today, and tomorrow really flourish. 🐦🐦🐦

I just learned that term thug from another KZread channel. I like it as well. I think it’s funny. I have some Vinca minor trailing down in my hanging basket and you are right. It definitely is a thug as well. It keeps growing back from the roots below, and it is definitely hard to get rid of. I think planting geraniums in that area will be just lovely. Hi Andrea. . . I had no idea how much that pineapple sage plant would spread out either until this year. Its been growing in that spot for about 5 years so I guess that was time to venture out!!! hahaha I don't regret it and it's very easy to dig and root up. . . . so its all good I guess. Good morning Faye I hope your Vinca seeds come up soon. I noticed a lot of my little Vinca sprouts are just popping up in the garden now so you should start seeing little sprouts soon. I find that so encouraging so I appreciate you for visiting me. The hydrangeas in my garden or just ones that I bought at Home Depot nothing special. I’ve had them for many years, but they finally are happy in this spot. As trees continue to grow in my garden the sun and shade changed so now I too am finding myself enjoying a shade garden. Hello there Karen welcome to my channel. I’m so flattered you took the time to visit me and subscribe. Thanks for noticing that awesome flower structure on my little coffee table in the garden isn’t that just so amazing? My next-door neighbors son actually hand made that. I’m not sure how or what materials he used, but it was handcrafted, the neighbor did not know what to do with it and she knew that I would put it somewhere in my garden. So she gave it to me. Thank you for noticing and appreciating it. that will make for a good question in my next Q&A 👍🥰❤️Liz
