Julius Nyerere way is now opened for Traffic in Harare Zimbabwe

The newly waited Julius Nyerere Road has been officially opened for traffic in Harare Zimbabwe, it took the contractors over a month to finish the reconstruction of that small portion of about 3km stretch.Kudos to the contractors who did the job. Most of the roads in the city centre are also being resurfaced..#harare #zimbabwe #africa #roads

Hi, GKay Zim watching you from Guyana South America. I loved the work my African brothers are doing to promote the continent. There is a Guyanese living in Zimbabwe and he refutes all the lies of the Western press when he is in Guyana .

Thanks for this video..and many others that you post🙏🙏 Yes, this section of JN Way looks good..thats it. GOOD. I wouldn't get overly excited about it. In other countries, this is the GENERAL standard. Until such a time that our Harare Roads (and other Zim cities and towns) are 'Airport Road' standard (Airport Road in Harare is the best in my opinion, standard setter), I will continue to feel unstirred by this random rehab of roads. To be honest, most Zim roads look like they are from a war-torn country. Absolute eyesore!!

Why don’t these engineers put round about on some of these spots? These engineers need exposure and should visit some countries and see how it is done ✅

I wonder when they’ll fix the traffic lights… like come on you (speaking to the council) could repave a road but can’t fix the traffic lights????? This is not unique to Zimbabwe, and as I’ve noticed many developing countries have the same problem. They have traffic lights but almost all are broken… so what’s the point of installing them in the first place???? I’m from NZ, a developed country and I’ve been fascinated by Africa, and I could tell that if Harare city council would bother to clean up the road, enforce road code to make drivers behave, and install barriers on sidewalks to stop pedestrians from working on the road, and fix the traffic lights, Harare will be as clean, safe and organised as Auckland

No improvement brother even if you try to applaud the progress.. the road is not even completely done. Marking lines not visible. traffic lights not even workin and most of them are not even there. There is dust in the road and grass no visible marking signs Compare to SA roads then we can talk. I think this is nothing to show us here
