Julius Nyerere way is now opened for Traffic in Harare Zimbabwe
The newly waited Julius Nyerere Road has been officially opened for traffic in Harare Zimbabwe, it took the contractors over a month to finish the reconstruction of that small portion of about 3km stretch.Kudos to the contractors who did the job. Most of the roads in the city centre are also being resurfaced..#harare #zimbabwe #africa #roads

Hi, GKay Zim watching you from Guyana South America. I loved the work my African brothers are doing to promote the continent. There is a Guyanese living in Zimbabwe and he refutes all the lies of the Western press when he is in Guyana .
I can't express my love and gratitude enough for the well-done roads in Zimbabwe's downtown. Absolute beautiful.
Thanks for the update. Bit by bit we'll get there. Hope the momentum doesn't stop.
They must fix traffic lights now
Thank you for the update. Always enjoy your videos from Canada 🇨🇦
Thanks, Gkay for the videos and keeping us updated. There seems to be an issue with your mic at times. Keep up the good work!

Hello brother 🙏🏽 keep up a good work am from @iam_marwa
Beautiful video keep it up ❤
Thanks for this video..and many others that you post🙏🙏 Yes, this section of JN Way looks good..thats it. GOOD. I wouldn't get overly excited about it. In other countries, this is the GENERAL standard. Until such a time that our Harare Roads (and other Zim cities and towns) are 'Airport Road' standard (Airport Road in Harare is the best in my opinion, standard setter), I will continue to feel unstirred by this random rehab of roads. To be honest, most Zim roads look like they are from a war-torn country. Absolute eyesore!!
Oldest sub in Zimbabwe is waterfalls.
The caption is obstructing our vision we can't clearly see the surfaced road ..u could have moved it higher...
Say no traffic lights not robots
Traffic lights and pedestrian crossings?
Why don’t these engineers put round about on some of these spots? These engineers need exposure and should visit some countries and see how it is done ✅

While delighted by the road surfacing progress, it's disheartening to note the substandard quality of the road markings.

Not only that but the side walk pavements have old brocken pavers which doesn't make any sense

Road islands /dividers with brocken curbings and pavers with shrubs or grass growing on them, some have sand all over the municipality can't even do normal esthetics to maintain decency

@@rachaelrae4532shows the level and desperation for the spotlight even the smallest of things they have to seek validation, iam in KZN Durban they are doing the biggest interchanges in the whole of the southern hemisphere, in Mhlanga its never paraded on national tv, the freeway from jozi to Durban is also getting major upgrades and more lanes being added you never see anyone talking basa ririkungorohwa pasina yep yep, when the project is done the provincial premier is the one who will pitch up, president is too busy with important things, in zim I saw vise president overseeing tuma roads kkk every other week and the media is over flooded with mbudzi and mount hampden roads unotowana how clueless they are desperation yacho is nauseating
No working traffic lights all the way from Hatfield!. Tanzania has high speed electric trains from Dar to Dodoma we take over two years to construct the Mbudzi interchange- we must be cursed!

HCC needs to clean up that dirt!
It's not building. It's rebuilding. Shocking it was allowed to deteriorate to such a bad state in the first place.
For a second i thought you were going to turn into Arcadia, 😂 thats where i grew up

A little bit too late I am sorry it doesn’t for me. Zanupf out
I wonder when they’ll fix the traffic lights… like come on you (speaking to the council) could repave a road but can’t fix the traffic lights????? This is not unique to Zimbabwe, and as I’ve noticed many developing countries have the same problem. They have traffic lights but almost all are broken… so what’s the point of installing them in the first place???? I’m from NZ, a developed country and I’ve been fascinated by Africa, and I could tell that if Harare city council would bother to clean up the road, enforce road code to make drivers behave, and install barriers on sidewalks to stop pedestrians from working on the road, and fix the traffic lights, Harare will be as clean, safe and organised as Auckland
Wrong priorities,
No improvement brother even if you try to applaud the progress.. the road is not even completely done. Marking lines not visible. traffic lights not even workin and most of them are not even there. There is dust in the road and grass no visible marking signs Compare to SA roads then we can talk. I think this is nothing to show us here
So basically these guys are only doing the roads leading from parliament to the airport? What about all other roads? And here we are celebrating mediocrity…guys kah lets be serious vanhu vari selfish ava. Worst thing is we praise them when they do so little and to their own benefit…Zig zag nation chaiyo
