The bravery of someone this sensitive, introverted and depressed to put herself out there so publicly is amazing to me. I'm glad that her bravery is as strong as it is because she's certainly the most talented living musician that I know of. To think that there are insanely talented lyricists, instrument players, vocalists that can emote when they sing that hide themselves away due to the agony of being seen is so sad. The world needs you if you are reading this. Please bring your work into the light.

I’ve lost two close friends, one to a drunk driver and another to suicide. Out of the whole song, this line hits me the hardest, because I can relate so much. I struggle from similar depression and anxiety that lead my one friend to take her own life. But then the second part of that line comes in. Through the pain of life and loss, I must rejoice. RIP Aaron and Kaci. I miss y’all

This line made me burst out in tears. It's the first time I've cried in a while. Really powerful stuff

What a set of pipes, and to be able to strum while singing that intensely!

i love this version, especially towards the end how she bellows out 'mistakes' on other versions i've heard it's normally a lot more subdued

Man, she has such control over her voice and playing. So terrific. I can't help but feel something when she plays.

There's only a few people who can sing as passionate as her, every version I've seen through lots of sessions of youtube has something different and unique, she never half-ass a song or performance.

It's crazy that she's so young and is obviously getting better every time she performs. This version surpasses the studio master for me.

Her performances hit me with the same jolt of power and emotion that Tracy Chapman did like 30 years ago. She's an insanely good singer and guitar player. Unreal.

This is my favourite performance of hers I think, the best version of Rejoice for sure. It is just so intense from the "lift my voice" line until the end.

A friend introduced me to her last week and I've been addicted since. Then she showed up on Cardinal Sessions - couldn't be happier!
