The first rule of improv is "yes, and" but the first rule of Julia is "no, and" and it kills every time

I love that most of the time that Jacob is the one that disapproval of Julia's jokes, and Nathan is the supportive one. And one time the role is reversed is the Merobiba one

I love Jacob being the most flabbergasted and confused about Julia’s jokes Because he married her, he’s perpetually stuck just.. nonsense. And I’m so happy for them

Julia forgetting the names of Madame Alm/All/Terry is actually a joke on 3 levels - funny cause she made them, funny cause it’s a character who keeps losing track of the name she’s using, and funny cause memory loss is an integral part of Celestial Spear

"Andy's mints are high in fiber" There needs to be a comp of Julia saying the most random facts or sentences after 3 seconds of silence cause I could never escape that candy fact. Its in my brain forever.

one of these days Julia is going to perfect the bit and carry on a conversation where everyone thinks she's on topic for like ten minutes, and then say something that reveals she's been on a whole different wavelength the entire time

To be fair to Julia, bugs DO have skeletons that make them crunchy… just… not ones that look like that XD

A lot of these are Julia making very fast word associations, a power that I share, which makes for jokes of massively varying quality

Julia pretending to not know things is a fraction to a cut of Julia being beyond extra, that could be a whole series

Sometimes I feel like Julia's style of humor is to faceplant as hard as she can.

my favorite part is when she just. jumps in in the first moment of silence and then very quickly her voice gets quieter and the others just deadpan "oh is that a X joke. that's a X joke. it's because you think X is Y."

Honestly Jacob's deep and consistent exasperation with Julia's jokes (except for when he pivots and plays along) really makes me feel validated as someone with a partner who also has an absolutely unhinged sense of humor, which induces a similar reaction.

Jacob pretending to be annoyed by Julia's jokes makes them the perfect combo.

I'm currently sick and trying to make some rice, and listening to this, trying to understand Julia's jokes makes my fevery brain think the task of rice is way more difficult than it actually is

Jacob is wrong (like a fool), Julia's jokes are always fantastic

Julia pretending to be clueless is one of my favorite Drawfee bits. Seeing a video full of this bit and her wonderful/terrible puns brings me so much joy.

It always impresses me that Jacob picked up on the edge of tomorrow joke 😭

the one from pokemon stats where julia pretends not to hear anything they're saying is so funny. she's really channeling her inner eight year old. also reminds me of the sss stream where they played deathwatch like jacob you know how to get her attention don't play dumb just raise your head slowly from the bottom of her vision and then twist it around 180 degrees to look at her. it's so easy

And Julia didn't want to work in comedy

nathan and jacob always trying to decipher julia's jokes and karina never understanding them is just so funny
