the fucking crazy frog x Simon and Garfunkel bit they did felt like a personal attack because my mom loved Simon and Garfunkel and my dad inexplicably listened to crazy frog more than the normal human should during my childhood. That was the most hyperspecific bit they could've done and when it happened I nearly died laughing

The compilation makers are like the Drawfee internet corner’s equivalent of the kids who take charge and pass out Snack in kindergarten when the teacher has been gone for a while

It's far from S&G's most popular song, to be fair. It's a super well-known folk song overall, therefore it's one people often listen to _their version_ of because people search it up and they're one of the most popular artists to cover it ... but most contemporary rock stations (in my experience) of the type to play S&G don't really play it much because it's sooooooooooooooooo slow and sedate. Tangential fun fact: It's about abortion (probably? maybe? this part is contentious) and in general about being unable to love someone again after some type of betrayal. So quite a bummer lol

important to mention that gradient jumpscare is a joke that is slowly driving my brother insane. heres how it goes: me and my brother play civlization 6 together a lot, since he has like 200 hours on it and its one of his favorite games. we also play on the gathering storm expansion, which includes, you guess it, storms and natural disasters. one of the storms takes placce in deserts and is called a "gradient dust storm". every time i see it while playing, i sing it to gradient jumpscare, which is radioactive from those imagined dragons. he has no idea why and its so difficult to explain in the moment that i never do and he gets more and more angry the more i make the reference

There was no SSS stream today, and Khaz told us to watch vods/comps. This was RIGHT above that community post so im taking it as a sign

I will never get over the fact that my favourite KZreadrs think that the traditional English folk song, Scarborough Fair, is a Simon and Garfunkel original 😂

The apology video is prime Drawfee, and when I originally saw it, I had no idea who Spencer was, and I think I was wondering who that guy was in the shot after Karina's apology was over. Now I know. "And knowing is half the battle." Also, I was on board for the entirety of the extended "What Does the Fox Say," Simon & Garfunkel, and Crazy Frog references, so as Karina said, there's always someone, and they always find us. lol

I may be getting mixed up with something else, but I also was confused about Scarborough Fair when I watched that episode, because I thought it was a poem. I read a book years ago that had a version in it and was inspired by it. I just looked the book up and although it's probably been a decade since I've read it, I don't remember it being bad like lots of reviews say and a lot for reviews are very critical for things that I remember did make sense in the context of the book, if that makes sense. Now I'm really curious of the book holds up. I remember really liking it. Anyway, I don't blame Julia for not knowing the song because it truly does not come to mind at all. I wonder if I've heard of it.
