I was a kid, too, but still remember those old black-and-white images. I also remember her voice and the chickens! I will share this vlog with my sister who, unlike me, actually WANTED to learn how to cook. That looks like a pretty cool place to be interred but because I am afraid of sharks I will not be laid to rest under the sea :)

I loved her show on PBS. I learned to cook watching her show. I think there wouldn't be a Food Network or all these TV chefs and cooking shows if it wasn't for her. She got us away from Jell-o salads. I hope she and Paul rest in peace. Thank you for telling her story. Take care.

I had no idea that there was such a cemetery. Very interesting thank you. I never watched Julia very much but her cookbook was a staple in most kitchens of my friends. I do like the movie Julia vs. Julia. She was a character and Dan Akroyd played her perfectly on SNL! Lol!

I loved Miss Child. My dear friend Meredith's brother-in-law lived next door to her in I think France and they spent several Thanksgivings at her home. Can you imagine? I had no idea her final resting place was down here. I'll have to go visit. I thought I knew all the celebrities down here. Yesterday I went to Pompano to visit the graves of two sisters and that's all I'll say because I don't want to spoil it if you are going to do it in the near future. But I have brought them flowers a couple of times out of respect and admiration. Great job as always! Oh my bad,😂 I hadn't watched the whole thing yet LOL. So now I know where she is.

There is no person who has ever lived for whom I have more respect than Julia Child. She was everything a person, let alone a woman, could and should be. I asked you years ago to do a video about her and I'm so glad you finally did. I thought I knew everything but this under water grave was something I never knew. It was so like her to do something so unique and special. I'm sure she did it so that people wouldn't be desecrating her final resting place. She may have had other reasons we'll never know. Rest in peace, dear Julia. We miss you.

Such an interesting woman & a fascinating life. So, she worked for the OSS & now she’s buried at the eastern end of the Bermuda Triangle, & in an area not far from the supposed sight of Atlantis. Hmm. Her husband struck me as a “real” man, he was not intimidated at all by her fame, & she said herself if not for Paul there would have been no “French Chef” on tv. I think she was very disappointed when they did not have children, she had to find another interest. Love Julia!
