I'm really only at a 6 or 7 because I don't think they'll be asked to do too much because of the defense, and I have faith that both can play smart and take care of the ball despite what Madden is doing with Minshew every week...lol

I would be far more concerned if our QBs looked great against our defense this early while learning a new offense!

Mitch, you have to look at all the signs. AOC12 is going to be our QB1. He deserved it my friend. AP is a coach who has shown a principle he values is loyalty. AOC helped AP become the HC so it’s only right for AP to return the favor. Loyalty equals Royalty! Also, the number 12 is a sign too. Great QBs wear number 12 such as Stabler, Gannon, and Brady! I'm not concerned about our QB room one bit. If they look like the Keystone Cops after the pre-season games, then I'll be concerned. It's way too early to say either way how they're gonna play. C'mon, are you gonna crown one MVP if he hits every throw after a week of practice in sweats?

The Raiders need AOC and GM to be good... great would be awesome but it's not necessary. Only one team can have the best QB in the NFL and there is so much more needed than that to hoist the trophy and I believe that the Raiders have a lot of those things.

With Getsy - One BIG thing I just thought of. This whole Offensive staff is VERY different from bears. We have Joe Philbin in the room to help coach the coaches. We have Rich Scangarello (known as a good play designer and has experience installing.), Edgar Bennet, Scott Turner Thats 5 OCs. SO different from the Bears room. IF something is up - I believe it WILL get corrected and AP won't allow dictators. Also remember two weeks ago this was "easier" than last year everyone was saying.

Right now at this time , 4, this includes the recipients of the ball making the QB better

would say that we really have 2 top 20 qb's but the media loves first round picks like trevor lawrence and he makes 245 million. meanwhile minshews numbers in as many games are better than lawerences but he was a 6 round pick so he will always suck. the only exception to that rule is tom brady who somehow fell into a great team and then played very well.

You guys, it's just practice. Did any of you play football? Because they're just throwing the ball around, getting their timing down, getting a better idea of the playbook, and going through the motions. They're not practicing before a game. When they come back in two and a half weeks and put the pads on, then you will see the cream rise to the top. And the ones that don't, they won't make the team.
