    My mind was blown during the broadcast of this game when AL Michael's said the Raiders have only had 2 winning seasons since 2003. That's just rank incompetence and such a shit legacy for one of the great teams of the 60s - 90s.

    In his entire career LT threw 3 passes against the Raiders. One was in a tie game, one was in the first half of close game, and one was a game that the Raiders actually won. He literally never threw it when the game was "out of hand". You're so pathetic you're gaslighting yourself.

    The difference from last week to this week was the o-line. Center, left guard and left tackle were in new positions and stepped up. This allowed the run game to be better than it's been all season, and this allowed Adams and Meyers to eat all day long. Simple things have a major impact.

    @isaiahayers1550

    Yeah, I didn't understand what he meant by that. If you look at the play, it seems pretty obvious that it was supposed to be a double pass and there was nobody else to throw to besides Davante. Nobody was out in front to run block for Jakobi either. Not sure what would've been different.

    I’ve been high on him before he tore up the preseason, and I think he’s improving. If I was the GM I’d roll with AOC and get Brady to mentor him and help develop his pocket movements. Brady is proof that you don’t need to be Lamar Jackson or Mahomes running around the pocket to be a great QB. Brady was THE KING of subtle movements in the pocket whether that was stepping up at the perfect time or to the side or a small rollout to buy JUST ENOUGH time to get a pass of and let the play develop a little bit more before passing. If Aidan can work on that and keep improving on his accuracy consistency, he’s going to be a very good QB. And use all the draft picks on the trenches and fill some holes on defense. Take advantage of having a rookie QB on a rookie deal just like the eagles did. Worst case scenario the raiders want to draft a mobile QB, I am CERTAIN it is going to TOUGH to beat out AOC.

    I think I can shine some light on your questions on the last play. In my honest opinion I believe they ran up the score for a few reasons. 1) all kinds of chatter of Raiders shutting down the stars to rest up for next year and everyone took that personally including the new head coach Pierce. 2) rewind to the first time the Raiders played the Chargers. Aidan got thrown into the fire even though JMD didn’t want to start him (and in my opinion JMD played the offense specifically to show Aidan’s weak spots so he can continue starting Jimmy G). AOC struggled but showed bright spots, and JMD specifically didn’t try and chip Mack or have someone help out with Mack even though he was WRECKING the game. So to my main point, after the game Mack made remarks about AOC and said he likes the old #4 and he would get the ball out quicker. Long story short Raiders took it personally, both what the media was trying to push and the remarks Mack said after the first game vs the Chargers. To me it made sense, and Raiders weren’t making any snarky remarks after beating the life out of the Chargers. Go Raiders

    You're the first person to be critical of this Antonio Pierce is the new Bill Walsh offensive mastermind clique. This was not the same Chargers team the Raiders faced earlier. I don't remember if O'Connor couldn't find any open guys or was just holding the ball too long but in the first half he looked like a sack . He looked better in the 2nd half and Herbert got hurt which helped slow the Chargers down but something is very different and more different than having to start your own QB who never played before. It reminded me of preseason where Aidan looked pretty good but he wasn't facing exotic schemes or blitzes. He didn't miss the layups but I don't think anyone should forget the game before. Could Hardigree moving upstairs really have helped THIS much? I've been following the Raiders since 1980. They usually don't score anything close to this. Were the Chargers tanking? AI? Analytics(in Gruden's voice)? They could have broke the record for scoring if they were trying in the end. I just hope some more objectivity goes into their coaching hire. Pierce is not qualified.

    I dont mind the raiders scoring up by 42 because thats the whole point of being on the field. The Raiders staff are fighting for jobs after getting shut out last week to now scoring a Franchise record. The offensive coordinator has proved that he is competent to be either a position coach or coordinator in the future and Antonio Pierce has proven that he can inspire a team after getting shut out 4 days ago unlike the Chargers Head Coach who was fired today.

    J.T., I can appreciate what you said about that last TD on the trick play to Adams, but there are more layers to the onion...At this point, the players and staff of the Raiders are very much playing for their jobs and for each other; 2023 has been a bumpy season for them, and they are out to show Mark Davis that they deserve another season together with only some small adjustments to make rather than yet another round of wholesale changes of regime, schemes, and personnel. Antonio Pierce, despite his lack of experience as HC, has brought the swagger back to this team from the defense up. OC Hardegree is beginning to sow his oats and open up the playbook as fast as his rookie QB can handle it, with creativity we Silver and Black fans haven't seen in many years. I do not want to see ownership bring in another superstar Head Coach, and, for the love of God, NOT JON GRUDEN, either! We have talented players who just need and deserve to be coached up to their potential, which was not happening under Gruden or McDisaster. Granted, the Bolts limped into this game, so I agree that too much should not be read into the scoreline, but the execution at all three levels and the persistence of a full 60 minutes of effort built on weeks of progress brings much-needed hope for this team's future. I like what I see, and I hope Mark Davis does too. I can accept not making the playoffs this year, so long as we have laid the foundation for future success in all three phases of the game led by a coaching staff that is all about the colors he is flying here and now, not the ones he used to represent some there and then. McDaniels can keep his glory days; Our future looks bright with A.P. at the helm!

    The double pass play for the TD to Adams while up 42-0 is the result of a coaching staff fighting for their jobs next season. They stayed aggressive largely because they are in the middle of a job interview. AP and his staff know they need to make a splash to "wow" Mark Davis (their potential employer). We all do that in a job interview. If the coaching staff already had a commitment for future seasons...that play doesn't happen at that point in a game like this. That's my take on it.

Maybe get them thinking about that and then changing things up. Maybe a triple pass play? Or a fake toss to Jacoby then throw the other side. Just a thought I had. We will see Christmas Day.

    Staying aggressive 42-0 do the double pass but it was practice more importantly remember week before we lost 0-3 and have struggled all year scoring over 20 pts besides against giants . Against patriots the defense scored a safety but offense didn’t go over 20 pts in a game

    It's a rivalry game on prime time television. We hate the Chargers and they we are playing for nothing on both sides, I am sure if you despised a team that much and as an interim Head Coach you'd would be all about it if you were coaching for a potential job. We put up 3 pts against the Vikings and needed this game.

I immediately saw and see something special about penix in many ways. He's the passing King to me. Caleb, Maye, Jayden should be gone by the time we pick. Can you tell me your thoughts on how Penix NFL career will go and if I'm right about him being special. Appreciate you and all the hardwork you do for us

    Us Raider fans had to watch Ladanian Tomlinson and Shawn Merriman murder the Raiders many times. I'm all for piling on the points against your division rivals. The Raiders have been ahead many times only to squander away a lead. We haven't gotten to celebrate much so I'm okay with the trick plays.

    Watching the NFL step on my Raiders for the past 20 years. Good for them calling a double pass up 42 nothing. No sympathy from Raider Nation. I bet Trent Green will be in the booth when they play the chiefs on Xmas day. If the chargers didn't like the play, stop it. Raiders got that swash back in'em.

    How do you go from a soccer score loss the previous week to a basketball score win? This says more about the Chargers than the Raiders. Talk about not showing up for a game. I wouldn't be surprised if the Chargers HC doesn't finish the season.
