Thanks, Adam. I liked the glue from the 4000 but didn't feel the 609 would be as effective on electronic music. I get the same feeling with plugins, some types of saturation seem out of place with a synth track.

Yeah I’m finding each compressor has its own voice, which works really nicely in some places and not so much in others
Great video man! Does the SA4000 mk2 have the carnhill/neve transformers or API style?

If I didn’t do that, check out John Browne’s channel. I’m pretty sure we filmed that in the same season. Safe to say they’re practically identical

I’m pretty sure I said at the start of the video that I’m in John Browne’s studio. He’s a Cubase guy, so I rolled with that. It pays to be up on other DAWs well enough you can jump in and get the work done, even if it’s not your favorite
