I purchased an Omega J8006 masticating juicer and couldn't be happier. I've been juicing a couple times a week now for over two and a half years. I love the juicer in winter months when I get cabin fever! My favorite juice is: 2 Granny Smith apples, 2 medium/small beets, 1/2 lemon, and 1/2 inch ginger = it tastes just like pink lemonade!

Very easy to assemble kzread.infoUgkxXHNfxr6U9XrHQpsdjUrKNVP231BfS9q9 disassemble and wash. I had a juicer before and remember how much work was to wash it and how little juice I got for this. So, I was sceptical and that's why I did a good amount of research so I don't get disappointed again. So, I picked the Hamilton-Beach 67608A model and I am glad I did. Now, this is a totally different experience! It is powerful and squeezes every ounce of juice so the pulp is almost dry. It's simple and easy to take it apart for washing. I put a plastic bag in the waste container for less cleaning. I am glad I picked this model as it is smaller in size, but delivers the same power as the larger one.

You are awesome Dani and excellent video tutorial. I picked up a Centrifugal Juicer about a week ago after watching allot of other videos on the tube here. Picked up a Breville Juice Fountain Plus Juicer as a first time juicer and very happy with it. loving my 30 days of Juicing and on day 10 and doing great losses 10 lbs already. Having seen you cover the Masticating juicer, i can also see how that is also very efficient and really squeeze the pulp all out. Great to know how both juicer options work and any future consideration. The bloopers are also great, takes allot of effort and time to make there videos i know. Your awesome.

When I juice I'll take the veggie pulp and add it to my tub of extra bits and pices of left over veggies in the freezer to make Hobo Soup. Its just whatever would get tossed together to make a veggie/bean soup, the extra carrot pulp gives it a thickened consistancy more like chowder! So one night you might have a tiny bit of green beans left, add em to the tub, the next night a bit of corn is left, add it to the tub, the next some asparagus, add that too! Its just like making a free meal with stuff you'd probably discard, we used to make it like once a month or so, adding whatever else to pump it up with some with popatoes, cabbage, all sorts of beans, ect.

Dani, I love your videos. I don't have a juicer I blend my produce until is super liquid and then I strain it a bit so it's less thick. The kids won't drink it all if I don't strain it. But I find it so much richer when it is blended. The little extra pulp goess on the soil as plant food. Mix it up in one place to make a rich compost.

It's important to understand that fructose from fruit is absolutely nothing like fructose associated with high fructose corn syrup. They have nothing to do with one another. Fruit sugar gets a bad wrap for no reason, and it's sad because fruits are our natural food source as human beings.

RAW is WAR in the end, doesn’t matter which kind of fructose, it will still spike up insulin and turn into glucose and get stored in body...? fruits are indulgence not necessities. What vitamins or minerals we cannot get from meat and vegetables that are found in fruits? Cheers!

that is not true. Fructose is fructose. The problem is, that with pure fruit juice you take in a lot of fructose solved in water without the fibre, so it gets absorbed very fast. If you drink a smoothie or eat the whole fruit, you won't observe the same kind of blood sugar spike compared to pure juice. So, you should mix your fruit juice with water, maybe add some vegetable juice and drink it slowly.

I bought my juicer about 5 years ago or so, but I only started being able to juice more recently. I was always worried about what to do with the pulp. I finally bought both a dehydrator and a food processor that have given me the ability to not feel so wasteful with it. I take the pulp from my juicer for a few different things - for the sweeter stuff, I put it into bread or muffins. The veggie stuff gets made into crackers in my dehydrator or is added to my spaghetti sauce to thicken it and give some extra fiber. I work in a store with baby food, and I actually got the idea to put some of the pulp in homemade ravioli. Still haven't done that yet, though.

Thank you very much. I'm diabetic II and looking for a way to reverse my condition through juicing. Heard about liver detoxification to help the pancreas. What juice can I make for this? Thanks once again for the video.

I have Crohn's Disease and my juicer is a lifesaver. I can't actually eat most fruits and vegetables because the fiber gets stuck and makes me really sick, so this is how I can get them into my diet.

Very informative. I give my pulp to my dogs. I also add it to omelettes. When roasting / sautéing / grilling chicken and beef, I add it to the rub. Really nice in beer can chicken

I blend and drink it like juice. I love eggplant juice. I won't eat the eggplant if it is cooked so what i do is cut them up in pieces add apple or orange juice and drink it with the pulp and another one I do is i take out the skin of the Aloe Vera and put it in the blender with mint leaves. I'm dying for my Kale to grow so I can do it with the Kale. New at this but enjoying to blend what I grow. Loved and Subbed.

I've been watching TOO many videos about this is this by far the best and most informative one by far. Thank you very much. My biggest wonder is the blender vs juicer aspect. I really don't know if the fiber aspect is as important as receiving more nutrients by not being filled up by all the pulp. I understand certain people believe juicing is a waste of food... but really, it's just a waist of fiber. It does cost more IF you use more food, but if your only doing it for the nutrition, than do don't NEED more juice to do that. Even if you throw in just a couple pieces of fruit and vegetables... you'll only get a small amount of juice... but that's all you need. Your not doing it to fill yourself up... if you want to do that, you use a blender. Am I wrong?
