    This video is timely. I really needed to hear this. Diagnosed with breast cancer 3 months ago, I'm rejecting chemo and surgery. Started changing my diet and fell off last week. Gotta get back on that horse. I'm going to sign up with Healing Strong. I really don't want a mastectomy.

    Thank you, Chris for the great interview with Cherie Calbom! My mother gave me Cherie's book, "Juicing for Life" as an Easter gift in April of 1992! I was 45 years old at the time, and now still juicing at 77 years of age! Many wonderful benefits of juicing along with Chris Wark's Square One - Chris Beat Cancer program!

    When my digestion collapsed & my insulin resistance went into orbit after 8 years of low carb high fat Keto/Carnivore & not even heaps of insulin could get my blood sugar down anywhere near normal, I had no option but to go plant-based. I just juiced for the first month to give my poor beleaguered digestion a break. Whilst my blood sugar stayed high for the month, probably because my body was clearing out ectopic visceral fat, suddenly it started to drop, my insulin sensitivity returned & I had to radically cut my insulin intake by more than half (50+ units to 25 or even less). I also lost 11lbs of fat. For me, it’s fats that drive my insulin resistance. The more fat I consume, the more insulin I need. Juicing works very well for my diabetes & hopefully eventually will enable me to lose enough weight to reverse the diabetes.

    For Chris: I was reading your website re the woman who healed her cancer by juicing carrots and drinking it daily. Carrots are high in sugar though, and I thought sugar is said to feed cancer? I am confused. Can you clarify whether one needs to stick to mainly juicing only low glycemic fruits and veggies? Or are high glycemic ones also cancer fighting? I am researching info for a friend. Thanks for the info you share!

  • @Elizabeth-mh5zc

    @Elizabeth-mh5zc

    17 күн бұрын

    I’m not a doctor- if you have a lump of some kind- having the tests to know what you are dealing with, is important. As far as a biopsy- if you are able, financially, have it removed not biopsied. It’s important to get it out. It’s my understanding Chris had it removed. A family member had her breast tumor removed in 1994 and has eaten well since, taken care of herself. No other issues. But no matter what- take care of yourself. Have the tests to know what you are dealing with and then make the best decision for yourself.

    I had mine biopsied. Someone from An Oasis of Healing said they strongly encourage people not to do that. It only aggravates it. He was right. I've been in pain ever since. The MRI showed everything anyway. The biopsy so far has been my biggest regret. He also told me to get a PET scan opposed to a CT scan.

    Chris, what about oxalates? I was juicing, and my bladder started hurting like a bladder infection, so I went to the dr, and no bacteria found. Every time I juiced, it would get worse and worse. I've now learned i was building up oxalates throughout my body because my vegan diet didn't include enough calcium to neutralize them. Had anyone else struggled with juicing? My bladder hurt for almost a year before i found a low oxalate diet for relief. They were calling it IC (interstitial cystitis)

    The falcarinol in carrots, beets that is needed daily to kill cancer cells could not be eaten, so, juicing gives that concentration. Many use the pulp for muffins, veggie burgers and crackers, or we compost or feed chickens....also, the 2 salads give plenty of fiber.
