    My 92-year-old mother passed a year ago. We played this song at her service as she was a Judy Garland fan & this was one of her favorite songs.

    You can feel the pain she’s experienced as she sings this. I have never seen another singer who can make You feel as much as Judy Garland could her she sings

    The lyrics she sings are uplifting her face says so much more. Like she's tried so hard to believe the words, and maybe this time when she sings it she'll feel that they're true.

    JUDY OWNED THIS SONG WITH ONE OF HER BEST PERFORMANCES EVER...SHE HAD DONE THIS A BIT LATER ON THE PERRY COMO SHOW...BUT AS SHE LOOKED LOVELY AND SANG GREAT, I THINK THIS IS THE BEST....

    Many, many years ago at a stopover in St. Louis airport, I was walking and Judy was right ahead of me, she was in a beautiful fur coat, really tiny woman and I was in awe; loved her so much; just a painful life though

    This is one of those messages where the point isn't whether it's always factually true or not... What's important is repeatedly telling yourself. Until you believe it. Until you get through it. And being there to assure others to hang on and do the same. It's grit and heart, and holding onto the ideals you wished you could see in the world. So many people these days dismiss these kind of lyrics as sugary nonsense.
