This realy is a great attacking system. One important thing is that i work my both hands in at the same time! That makes it very difficult for my opponent to protect himself, both his throat and his arm. Give it a try!

One of the most clear and concise breakdowns of these techniques I have seen. I can't believe it's taken this long for me to find these videos. Thank you Sensei Rikard.

Thanks for sharing. When I get into newaza I never really know what to do as my knowledge of techniques is very limited, seeing this video has given me a range of new techniques to put into my arsenal in order for me to put up a fight in newaza so thank you

Thank you very much. This is a very flexible and tactical attacking system for breaking turtle defence. I can attempt 2 different submissions and a pin simultaneously. I should train this for my newaza at my dojo :)

Rikard is great as a Judo teacher, and this video shows it. He is a frequent guest instructor at Hollywood Judo in Los Angeles, and he still competes.

Good Morning! Sensei Ricardo, I have 66 years of judo training since the age of 5 years I was Sensei too, but unfortunately I had a myocardial infarction, so I'm only going to visit colleagues at his gym, it was with great pleasure that I met you on KZread. I am watching your videos also using Close Caption I can train my English that I am beginner, I would like to know if you could not legendar to us that we like Judo in your videos because the feature of the Caption Key Close translates wrong mainly the names of the blows Because English do not understand well but Judo I think I know a little so I believe that the Lord would help a lot more people who are learning English at this time I am using Google Translate, sorry for the mistakes and Thanks for your help.

Very interesting stuff here, thanks Rikard! I like very much the holddowns, for example. TBH I find it sometimes near impossible to get in between the arm/elbow and torso though, when they strongly resist and protect their arm. What would be your suggestion for this situation, Sir? :-) Mark
