I think they should change the "shido" to points. If you get 3 shidos (points) against your name, the other person win by ippon. Makes it looks better, and feel better, because in order to get a shido against you, you have to be dominated, and that's a win.

Yeah I aree that losing by penalty really leaves a sour taste in people's mouths.
Most of the times people drop on their knees as soon as they get the grips (doesn't matter how akward they are) just to show the judges they are being active while in reality they have zero intention to throw. I wish they would make it easyer to get penalized for false attack.
