In my opinion, Judge Marilyn Milan is the smartest reality TV judge. She can handle complicated cases. Love that she thoroughly explains her ruling. She also has a great sense of humor. I love when she introduces the most timely phrases her grandmother used to say. Soooooooo glad she'll be back on tv.

@spaghetti9845 Judge Judy/The People's Court/Judge Mathis were the only three court tv shows that heard ACTUAL cases that were originally filed in small claims court. Judge Judy was the only judge to admit that the show paid the judgements. Unfortunately, Judge Milian's and Judge Mathis' new court shows have joined the FAKE/SCRIPTED court show arena, which means more and more cases will be RIDICULOUS!!. NO THANK YOU!!

That is why the new show, even though they are using actors and more staged cases, is still good to watch: JUDGE MILIAN still IS JUDGE MILIAN! In contrast to the other ‘re-makes’ like Judge Judy and Judge Mathis: they both are falling through the ice and turned out to be very FAKE, making their new shows unbearable to watch!!

She grew up poor in Queens, NY and She studied her azz off to become a lawyer and judge and became the first Latina judge to host a nationally syndicated television court show.❤ Proud of her 👏

I love Judge Milian. She is absolutely awesome. Her court always feels like a real court room. She keeps it so real.

She is one of my favorite television judge☺️

I am BEYOND thrilled that she WILL BE BACK. HOPEFULLY FOR A LONGER period.

@@ftngie yep!!! As a landlord I've learned sooooo much from Judge Milian! She is fantastic at explaining the laws and how you need to take pictures and make sure you initial & date any verbal agreements added to lease or contract and so much more. Getting ready to hire some contractors and I will be using all of the great advice I've learned from her.

I’ve always loved her and the people’s court over other court shows because it’s less about yelling at the plaintiffs for entertainment than it is for actually making the law accessible for the lay people

THIS MADE MY ENTIRE DAY! I don't watch tv, except for Peoples Court on KZread and I was so heartbroken when I got the news it was being cancelled. I'm looking so so forward to Justice for the People because it's Judge Milian that made that show so special and entertaining. Today is a good day.

It got cancelled because of Harvey. He's a sexist pig. It wasn't a dumb move at all. It was the only way to get rid of Harvey. JM is a feminist. Her new show is going to be awesome!!!

I am a huge fan and love Judge Milian! Hate to see the People's Court end, but glad to know she has a new show. The banter between her and her husband after cases was a nice additional to the show.

I've been watching People's Court since 2001and there is no one on TV whose opinion I respect more than Marilyn Milian. She is unfailingly fair and often humourous in her judgements and I can't believe the show has been cancelled. Super glad some very smart person has realized what a coup it would be to have her on their team and started her on the road to a new series. I hope Douglas gets to come along as her bailiff! ❤❤❤

I'm so happy JM is getting another show! I don't know what the producers were thinking when they cancelled TPC. As we all know, JM is worth watching. She's fair and also compassionate, which this world needs.

I remember when she first got her show in 2001, I went to a live showing on Monday 9/10/01. Day the before 9/11. I remember thinking, wow, just yesterday, I had a great day going to the People's Court and had fun and the next day I was running for my life because I worked in lower Manhattan, near the towers and did not know if I would make it out. Unforgettable!

She's a diva!

I've always been a fan. She keeps it real with her no nonsense approach. She has no filter but yet she is very empathetic. She is brilliant, passionate, entertaining and hilarious all at the same time! So glad she has her own show!

I love Judge Milian!! I absolutely loved that her and her husband would talk about cases after the show. She was one of the reasons I wanted to be a lawyer.

I was sad to see she was leaving people's court. But I had no idea she was doing a new show. I'm so excited. I wasn't ready to say goodbye. Congrats Judge Milian!

Marilyn is a wise compassionate judge, wife and mother with a great sense of fair play.

That girl is 62 and she is STILL fine. She can judge me any night she wants. I remember I used to watch her when I was in my teens and I had the biggest crush on her. She caught me at this weird little time in my adolescence when A) I thought she was hot and I used to have little "my best friend's hot 40s mom" fantasies, and B) I used to get ridiculously turned on whenever she'd cop an attitude or yell at someone.
