Jude & Glenn's 2022 Bibbulmun Track Odyssey Episode 6 - Yourdamung to Yabberup

Episode 6 - Yourdamung to Yabberup
After a year of planning, in September 2022, we embarked on a north-to-south end-to-end on the 1000-plus kilometre Bibbulmun Track. It was a journey that presented its challenges, both physical and mental. This series showcases the beauty of the south-west of Western Australia and what it’s like to undertake a long distance through-hike through such spectacularly varied terrain & flora.
In this episode Jude & Glenn reach Collie, the second town on their journey southwest and take in the serenity of Harris Dam.

Enjoyed again, thank you. Good tip - booking accommodation close to the trail head! Also, you mentioned ponchos - which one(s) do you wear?

I have the Sea to Summit poncho tarp as you can use it as a shelter too, which I often use at the entrance to my tent for better coverage in inclement weather. A poncho can be fiddly to put on at times but once you get used to it's ok. In windy weather I use my elastic clothes line around my waist to stop everything blowing about 🤣🤣

I understand the resupply bag but what is a bounce bag please - loving your videos - planning my own E2E this year and your information is very helpful.

Our bounce bag had our ‘town clothes’ and things we used during our town rest days … lessened greatly what we carried. We posted it in from town to town.

Is your camera on your chest ? I would value your opinion on "breathable " clothing,too..for all possible seasons. Muchly appreciated.

How did you go managing battery life for your camera and phone Glenn?

I actually carried nine GoPro batteries and three for the drone … a lot but the amount of vision I shot on stretches of up to seven days in duration required it. I would recharge them all at each town we stopped at along the way. I also carried a 20,000mAh power bank to charge my phone and watch
