Great ride by Pierre-Charles Boudot. Looks a lot better on this colt than Ryan Moore has to date, but I tend to believe what will be coming to Longchamp for this year's Arc is a bit over Mogul's head at present. That said, I think he could be a really tough nut to crack for Ballydoyle at Keeneland in the Breeders Cup Turf, where he'd also have the advantage of the 3YO weight for age break.

Exactly. That was such a strange tactical decision by the trainer/owner/jockey/whoever. The horse's strength is setting a strong pace from the beginning, trying to draw the sting out of the fast finishers. It makes no sense.

Yeah I thought it was weird too. The jockey (Christophe Soumillon) said the trainer told him to hide Serpentine among the others. He didn’t sound too confident about that decision either.
