me too, been a fan since 78. Probably my all time favorite metal band.

Very moving. It must have gotten a lot worse the last couple of years. But he still enjoyed it and played faultlessly. Happy surprise that he played his solos. I strongly believe that guest appearances like this will keep him in better shape than if he just stayed at home and did nothing. Rock Forever!

How can there be four dislikes on this incredible moment!!! I got emtional when I saw a recent video of Painkiller with Glenn on the screen during the solo and this one was even more intense. Glenn has done a lot for Judas Priest and Heavy Metal for almost 50 years. He did amazing on this considering that he has been battling Parkinson's for ten years. God bless Glenn always!!!

Glenn must have a very aggressive form of the disease. Ozzy has had it for ages and so has Michael J. Fox, and they look better and move around more than Glenn is. I feel so bad for Glenn. Met him during the last two tours. He had trouble signing a poster I had, his hand was shaking so much, but I'm glad he is pushing forward no matter what. Keep it up Glenn!

In Ozzy's case the shakes from years of drinking counter act the Parkinson's. Not sure what the case is with Michael J. Fox. Seeing Glenn like this is really sad. He might have one maybe two shows on the European leg left in him.

I remember Glenn jumping around headbanging on the 'Jugulator' tour, but that's 20 years ago and he was "only" 50 back then and w/o that crappy disease. He still can play rythm, but as Glenn said in a recent interview, its hard playing the solos and all the travelling. I think Glenn will do the "big" places in Europe. Wacken and perhaps a few others of the big festivals, and of course the Uk shows. I want them to do 'Beyond the Realms'. He did well a few years ago, but I can see his health has decreased since the conclusion of the 'Redeemer' tour. :¨(

Yes, I know the drinking has a lot to do w. it w. Ozzy, but he does have Parkinson. He said so himself in an interview, but some take medication and can live w. the disease for years and live quite normal. It might be that Glenn has not taken the medications while touring, as it might slow down his ability to play. He was drinking quite a few Corona's on the side of the stage during the Epitaph and Redeemer tour when I saw them. Alcohol can in fact slow the symptoms for a while for some, but its not a healthy way, but Glenn played like a hero when I saw them. I thought it was due to age and he being almost 70 at the time, but when I was going to sign the poster I had, I knew something was off and it made me sad.

He's been diagnosed for over a decade, it's just getting to the point where it's slowing him down. He will always be my favorite guitar player of all time!

Yes, when looking back to the last few tours, some of the songs has been played in a slower speed than normal. He really struggled yet soldiered through 'Painkiller' during the last few tours too. The slower stuff he still does well, like 'Beyond the Realms of Death'.

Saw them in Tulsa, Oklahoma for my birth day this year. Was really glad to see Glen come out and play, but was heart breaking watching him as you could see how much his ailment has really effected him on stage. Still an awesome show glad I got to see him play!

Will never forget seeing this band way back in the early 1980's for the Screaming for Vengence Tour and was blown away by how they sounded live. And if you were there at the Dallas Convention center, remember all the chairs on fire in the upper deck!

The importance of Glenn Tipton’s writing and playing to metal is second only to Tony Iommi’s, IMO. The sounds and techniques the two men pioneered are still the foundation of heavy metal nearly fifty years later. I wish Glenn’s name was as known to the general public as the music he’s written. He certainly deserves that. I hope he goes down in history for the music he wrote and his great playing and the last few years of his career with his courageous health struggles are merely a footnote to an amazing life as a music pioneer.
