El día que murió Juan Gabriel estaba en casa de una amiga vimos la noticia en tv y después de eso se soltó una fuerte tormenta, las calles se inundaron y cuando terminó de llover el cielo se volvió rojo...lo recuerdo como si fuera ayer. Saludos desde Monterrey, México.

You're always asking why Juan Gabriel sings with so much passion and why there's always sadness in his songs and this is the answer that most Mexicans want to talk about or acknowledge and never never did. He was once if he was gay and his answer to a reporter was "you don't ask questions of the obvious". Forbidden love is all he had in his life.
