el noa noa was a bar night club in ciudad Juarez Mexico. it opened it's doors in 1964. but it wasn't until 1980 when Juan Gabriel wrote this song about it. so the song is really saying do you wanna dance tonight then let's go to the noa noa. by the way the club cought on fired in 2004 and was eventually demolished and it's now car parking lot..

@@ElizabethGarcia-gv4jl that is correct he was finally given a chance to perform. he had a female friend that was 17 years old and he was 16. they both would always found a way to get into the club illegally.cause you had to be 18 to get in.

Noa noa was a nightclub in Juarez Mx where Juan Gabriel used to perform when he was very young. My mom grew up in Juarez and she tells me she used to lie to my grandma about going to this club because she wasn’t allowed to go 😆. I also grew up in Juarez. I grew ip listening to his songs. I love him.

It was called Noa Noa and it was a modest bar near the border between Mexico and the USA. Years later he wrote this song in remembrance to honor the place.At the beginning of the song he mentions that that day was his 40th birthday and that is the way he wanted to celebrate it having so much fun.
