Some real nice women who are not brainwashed by television, feel deep love for her partner, for his charisma and wisdom and humor and spending time with him, holding his hand, feel his masculine strength, his charismatic hands, legs, neck, hair that its not just about sex but the connection and intimacy falling in love is not just about having sex falling in love means that she loves him wholeheartedly and therefore she doesn´t think about other people. She wants him to be happy because happy people fall in love with their partner. As Sam Vaknin said Love is the ultimate addiction, healthy addiction, therefore Facebook doesn't want men to fall in love with their own wives, because Facebook wants his eyeballs to look at the advertisement instead of looking at his beautiful wife. Therefore happy marriages are great competition for Facebook advertisements because the guy or wife is more in love with the partner than with Facebook feed.

It's really quite simple: -Women are dating older more successful men. -Women are dating other women. -Some guys are dating multiple women at once whether the women know about it or not. -Alot of men have given up because they don't qualify as a partner anymore to ridiculously high standards. That's why there are twice as many single men than women. It's no secret that being an average normal man isn't good enough anymore, we have to become a somebody just to attract below average to average women.

Women aren't suddenly "turning gay" at a far higher rate than men. Women are more likely to lie in a study or poll where a stranger asks them if they are in a committed relationship. Women often think the guy they are getting booty calls from twice a week at 3am constitutes a committed relationship. Both modern men and women have been brainwashed by social media, porn culture and entertainment to see themselves as flawed physically, financially or psychologically. They're both acting insecure and selfish, we cant act like all of a sudden women are fucked up and that's the only issue at play here? Young men spending all day working out, avoiding relationships and listening to male "self help gurus" like Andrew Tate is a symptom of their obvious unhappiness and problems. We both suck but luckily the world doesn't need a population increase at the moment so it's not an emergency.

For me it's an economic thing. It's annoying to try dating when you still live with your parents in your late 20s/early 30s, which most young people still do because housing is unaffordable and rent is just as bad. And it's impossible to think about starting a family when you can barely afford to support yourself on your current salary. The boomers had the luxury of pursuing romantic relationships because their jobs paid them a liveable wage, housing/college was affordable, and they felt financially secure enough to plan for their future. Our generation was robbed of that.

I’m 26 and my girlfriend of 5 years cheated on me in November and subsequently we broke it off. I found out soon enough the reality of single life particularly attracting women and how extremely difficult it is to find a partner or even get a date on tinder. Let’s face it, the world we live in now doesn’t support developing relationships as it did pre social media days. I work 9-5 Monday to Friday everyday at home and my own few friends rarely go out. Modern tech has completely destroyed human interaction and women’s perception of guys. As someone who is 35 and grew up before even AOL was a thing.... Let me tell you life was amazing in every way!! From good music and people!! And guess what life happens OUTSIDE! I come from a household of men were it's 10 of us. I co.e from a time where people with beeper were popular and house parties was the thing kids would do cut class to meet up at someone home. The good old days without social media and honestly women were approachable!!! You could actually walk up to a female and have a conversation and most were polite EVEN while rejecting you (granted) not all but most. In the beginning believe it or not social media was amazing because it was taboo at the time and when I started trying it out rejection WASN'T A THING!! imagine back in the day I had a 80-90% success rate on meeting women "ghosting" wasn't a thing!! To this day those were really the best time to be a introvert or even a extrovert so much was happening. Nowadays I feel sorry for the generation coming up, as a successful man to experience what a "normal" relationship looks like I had to travel overseas 😂 I know multiple languages so my experience varies. Good times good times! To this day me and my group of friends constantly talk about how good life was

Managed to conquer the (then) woman of my dreams at 26, she was my first girlfriend. It didn't last, but managed this feat two times after that. (studied more seduction/pua stuff in between, around the time 'the game' came out). There is a lot of trickery and some mysogyny in the pua material, but the way I did it was try to learn what resonated with my personality and reject all the rest (which was 90+%). YMMV and your way might not by my way. But there is always hope and learning to do. Good luck.

"yeah a buddy was visiting from Italy so we met at the club and danced" "How do you know a guy from Italy?" "Oh I met him there when I travelled and we remained friends" "and he just happened to be in Toronto the same week you were?" "Yeah...." Soooooo what I gathered from this. She cancelled on me to go to Toronto to see this guy and they probably hooked up and all that. No thanks lady. Havent seen her since. Basically dating apps and hookup culture, along with female entitlement have destroyed the dating system. A lot of women are seeing or in contact with multiple guys. So as a guy you can either enter an extremely competitive, toxic and brutal dating game, end up getting chewed up and spat out at the other end, or just forget about the whole thing. With the odds against men, I don’t blame anyone for staying at home, buying a PlayStation console, going off travelling, concentrating on careers etc etc. Chasing women is a mugs game. To select the potentially best mate, you girls have to be brutally selective under the mask of female and maternal empathy you enact at the surface level. This is why one of the great tropes and concerns of men throughout and across civilizations and art has been the subject of female deceit. This is where it comes from, when it's not malignant (because malignant deceit will always have an element of conscious manipulation to it e.g.). To the point discussed: it is a major cultural trope, best exemplified in literature (Madame Bovary is a good example for this), that most women will prefer being the concubine to the king than the wife of the loyal and lowly shoemaker. I'm single by choice. As far as middle school I was interested in women. The thing is it always plays the same, the girls I was exposed to had one of these issues.a 1.) Sleep around with loads of guys 2.) Treat rejection as if it were a death sentence (i.e Tried to destroy me socially after being rejected) 3.) The ones who didn't try to destroy me wanted to be friends but then treated me as a boyfriend with all commitment and no benefit. 4.) Every girl I met cheats or is looking for the next guy, they don't stick around and chase for some fake perfect guy who they have no intention of bettering themselves to meet. 5.) Every girl smokes and drinks or does drugs or is on serious meds for psychological issues. Nothing worse than thinking all is well then getting an early morning call during a bipolar or mental breakdown. 6.) The ones who don't have any of the above issues now think that being feminine is beneath them but always expect me to be masculine. Fail once you're tossed out. And they always have a list which they never have empty. 7.) They take no responsibility for any action. (Not in terms of social norms or in legal matters) 8.) They blame me for things other men have down to them (and it's always the crappiest guys they choose and they KNOW they choose badly. But they still can't handle truths.) Then there's also the fact that in every relationship including my own parents, the woman always ends it in an explosion. They throw out the men, inhibit the children, and then immediately try to move some loser in. Then they go through constant relationships while their children suffer. My mother, aunt and grandmother all have cheated and abused the men in my family. The one time I actually liked a woman, it was a girl not even from tbe fricking country. Our current culture has made women infantile and entitled at the same time. They are no longer long term benefits, they are rendered parasites in relationships, useless in friendships, and toxic as coworkers. I don't want to feel this way but I have yet to meet a sane decent woman yet in the West. I will have to consider surrogacy to have children or move out the country just to find a woman that is at the least not a complete basket case. The fact that the west is the worst place to build families is just the icing on the cake since women almost always destroy their own homes for their own happiness anyway. The ones that stay together are rendered sexless marriages anyway, so women as far as I'm concerned hold NO worth as a man.

Holy moly bro chill out!! Yes a lot of girls suck but so do guys. Yes it’s harder to find people now unless u use apps. A lot of people have small groups and don’t branch out. I’m more introverted so I’ve experienced that I mostly gave up on making friends unless it’s by chance to focus on my studies. However you gotta let go of this pent up prejudice it’s just gonna shoot you in the foot. Women can be great and I doubt you dealt with someone with true REAL BIPOLAR TYPE 1. There is nothing wrong with drug use humans have done it forever as long as time, as long as it doesn’t affect their overall life a lot. I think you need to just drop some standards and predispositions. You might find someone who doesn’t match your check list but you get along great, not everything works out with everyone. Yes some girls pick terrible guys, but some guys pick terrible girls. Look in areas that have more down to earth people like jobs or stem stuff in school and I think you might do great. Go in with an open mind and don’t pre judge all women!!!

I don't do online dating because it is a market fueled by male loneliness. I still don't even know where to _go_ to even look. Most hobbies are pretty clear cut down the line of the gender spectrum so I usually only find guys where my interests lie. The worst part is most people still think a bar is the best place to meet. I'm not looking for another goddamn hookup. Why does everything devolve into hookup culture? Whatever happened to what my mom and dad told me to find success? Why the hell does it feel like my goddamn dogs give me more companionship than most women, let alone most people?

As a man, I can confidently say the single life as a man is WAY better in western society. Too many women willing to cheat, lie, plan to marry to divorce to get money. “ Hot girl life “ hookup spree their whole 20’s away just to hit the wall at 30 and all of a sudden want to marry. Women who watch dating show series and come out of watching it thinking that’s normal behaviour and act like that in real life. Women who are willing to go out that are in relationships, just to hook up with a random and go back to their other like nothing has happened. We’re opening up into a new age where dating is the new pandemic. A lot of men like myself are realizing it’s easy to completely throw away your life away with modern women involved in it. If you have POND1 with hot western women but tons of guys competing and POND2 with women just as hot and more lovely and traditional with less competition I decided to fish in POND2! Why less competition? Because the women in POND2 aren't out dating 5 men at once, meeting tons of guys drinking, clubbing, whatever. It's just a culture difference. Biggest advice to men, is change the culture of women you go for and your life will change, did for me.

@@johjoh1203 I'm 33, American, and this genuinely concerns me. I think what we are seeing is the early stages of a demographic crisis or population collapse that will have transpired over the course of this century. I personally believe that social media AND dating apps are a huge cause of what we are seeing here. I graduated high school in 2008, by this point the internet and social media existed but it was nothing like what we saw a decade later. Things in this time frame were still normal, late 90s through early 2010s I remember people still socialized normally, they dated who was around them, etc. You can see a clear shift when dating apps emerged on the scene in 2014, there are a lot of stats to back this up. I also think instagram, only fans and others just added to this. We are now seeing the early stages of AI and you should expect to see this technology really take off over the course of the not too distant future. I believe that you will see a massive push for development in this field because the higher powers are fully aware that there is a demographic crisis. I am expecting a society where AI and automation takes over much of what a human can do right now. As time goes on, this technology will become increasingly more advanced. We will get to a point where a human cannot compete with AI. This could lead to something like universal basic income but I also have a feeling that it will be a very extreme society of haves or have nots.

@@johjoh1203 I would say its hard to be able to do that. Society grows bigger and bigger and ideologies change, communities naturally divide because opinions and values diversify. Currently most people care about their own communities, either it be 2-3+, big or small. And I can't really blame them for that. It is hard to fight for something that you don't even believe in. Let alone that people are struggling, they don't have the time and energy to care for everyone, jobs have been kind of rough and many still try to find their own meaning in life, especially during Covid, the effects still linger. People simply have their families (siblings, parents, etc.) some friends and they are apart of a community that shares their hobby or interest, I believe thats enough. Wanting to live a peaceful life and share happy moments with people you enjoy being around shouldn't be so negatively viewed. It is hard to have a collective sense when it comes to groups large as a society or a nation, because of such a polarization of opinions and values. But when it comes to smaller communities as I mentioned earlier, people are already doing that.

Now that that's gone, and everyone just keeps telling them to work on themselves for eternity, it's no surprise that depression rates have skyrocketed and isolation is increasing. I’m a man almost 28 years old and I’ve certainly lost all interest in dating. I recently broke up with my girlfriend of 1 year who I thought I was in love with and was going to propose to. She was very ungrateful and didn’t reciprocate anything I did for her. She was very toxic and had that mentality of “I am a woman therefore I am a prize and I’m not obligated to do anything for you because women are not your slave. If you don’t do certain things for me I can find 100 other guys that can”. Anytime she came over to my house I had food ready for her, I ran errands for her, picked up and dropped off her mail, taught her how to workout and eat healthy, would drive 30 minutes each way to her house to check up on her cats while she’s at work, fixed her car and put new brakes on it myself, bought her gifts, always treated her to going out to restaurants and bars, etc… One day I had worked a 12 hour shift and hadn’t really eaten anything. I called and asked her if she could make dinner ready for when I got home because I’m starving (I already had chicken washed, cut, and marinated in a pan with vegetables. All she had to do was put it in the oven). You know what she said to me? “Hahaha are you kidding me? I’m not going to let a MAN tell me to cook for him. I am not your slave. This isn’t the 1920’s where women are only reduced to being in the kitchen. Go find you another BITCH that will let you disrespect her and boss her around with your toxic masculinity” I was speechless. Like I’ve gone to great lengths to do everything for this woman and she thinks like that? Treats me this way? I ended it with her then and there. But even before dating her and these past couple of months I’ve done pretty well at getting girls. I have a good career, nice house, built physique, tons of hobbies, and a good personality with a big circle of friends so I always had options when it came to women. The one thing I keep realizing is that most women are opportunists. Meaning that no matter how good of a man they are dating, they will always leave and date someone else that has something that you don’t have. Oh this guy has a boat This guy always gets tables in VIP at the club This other guy owns a jewelry store This one guy has a lake house Etc… Girls have so many options due to social media and dating apps that they don’t see a need to be with one man. They are unable to pair bond and they know that they don’t have to put any effort in and still hundreds of guys will simp for them and provide them with everything. The average girl has the same sexual pull as a male celebrity. The other day I went out on a first date with this girl and she wanted me to take a picture of her next to my sports car so she can post it on her story (she has about 450 followers on IG). Later in the evening after we hooked up she had 100+ DM’s all from guys who are local asking her to go out for drinks or when they can go out for a date again. Meaning a lot of those guys she’s already gone out with or they are next in line. Yea no thanks. I don’t want to feel like I have to compete with over 100 men for an average girl.

Dating is the #1 thing that have made me feel like the most epic loser one can ever be. When I don't bother with it I feel a lot better. Even good for the most part. For example my last experience was an absolute nightmare. Got really passionate about a girl and she wasn't into me at all. I don't know if that's even true though, because women aren't always honest and there's always the confusion you get from mixed messages. But, she didn't at least have the feelings on the level that I had. It was a nightmare to be forced to accept that I had to go on without her, while she's living her life with other men. I can sometimes still feel that self doubt from time to time. "What kind of loser am I if I can't even get the woman I want." I grew up with seeing relatives and family members being romantically successful. Especially some of my relatives are those kind of couples that were always that unit of those two. Couples that met in the 1960s or 70s and they're still together now! My father ended up getting divorced. But he at least had those good years with a woman he loved and they got three kids. When it comes to dating nowadays. I don't even have the mental energy for that. My hope is that I might get to know some woman organically, without needing to think of it as taking part in a competitive game. That's just depressing. Constantly overthinking your every move and it causes hatred, anger and resentment towards women to be a part of all the BS that's going on in modern dating. I want a woman to look at me like I'm a human being. Not try to get into the head of some idiot with a checklist containing 10+ points on what she's demanding from a man, while simultaneously not offering anything more special than all the other average women are offering. And perhaps even being a modern feminist who will mostly cause conflict.

I always feel so exhausted when I try my best to be in a relationship with a woman, its rarely ever rewarding. All the truly "happy" relationships I see around me seem to have manifested so effortlessly. This is the best way to live imo. If you meet the right person, it will flow effortlessly, if you don't, you'll be alone but at least you won't be in a toxic relationship... Imo, its better being alone than with someone who will drain your emotions and mental well being.

As a happily married 31 year old, here's my advice to young single men. NEVER try to "meet your future girlfriend" on a dating app, DM, or online-platform of any kind. Use common sense. If that's where you met her, that's how she meets men generally, which means she's going to be more prone to exploring that world constantly in the first place. Make meeting women a SECONDARY pursuit of social engagement. For example, you'll meet women at meetup groups for your favorite hobby, or at work, or at the dog park, or at the gym, or volunteering, or even at a church event. In other words, form a social life around frequenting places where people are generally pursuing their betterment and interests, rather than lazily slutting around online. You at least then have a chance to meet a woman that doesn't load up her DM's with a menu of 50 thirsty guys from 5 dating apps waiting to cheat on you the first second you're not around or the first moment she's mad or gets bored. And finally, DO NOT EVER go to a club or bar to meet women. Consider clubs/bars in the same category as dating sites/apps. They're both huge attractors for the sleaziest, sluttiest, least loyal women on earth. Seek out venues where you might find a single woman who uses her free time in a more wholesome way.

I honestly agree with this, though the exact numbers may be off. There have always been young men who did poorly with the opposite sex. Look at any university and especially those in fields like engineering or the hard sciences, most of those are not players lol. Then you also have young men that are just quite undesirable, basically what you imagine when the term "incel" comes to mind (bad hygiene, obese, etc.). The thing is, the vast majority of men are relatively normal and otherwise potentially dateable. They don't have severe social issues, mental health problems, are not drug addicts, alcoholics, etc. I am convinced there is some very wrong with the current dating market but I believe there are many variables to blame that are collectively causing this.

I like to use myself as an example. I'm 33 now, white, 6'4" 235 with an athletic build and one of the fittest guys at the gym I go to, I go hiking a lot, etc. I'm taller and in better shape than the vast majority of men, for those over 30 I'm at a whole different level. Anyway, I've gotten a ton of rejections over the years and while some of them were from women that were hot many of them were from women that were completely average and even at times slightly unattractive. A few years back, 2019, I got this idea to try out a speed dating event from a guy I knew, I thought it would be interesting so I signed up. Anyway, there were about a dozen women around my age, late twenties through early 30s. There were no ugly women, but a couple that were legitimately fat and the rest were within an average range for women that age. Anyway, long story short I got nothing from the event and that experience really opened my eyes, this was back in 2019. Women around my own age that were single and actively looking did not think that a man their own age that was 6'+ and clearly in shape was not good enough to consider for a real date. They literally at face value rejected this, so it's not like they were filtering out for things related to compatibility, which happens after a couple dates. Granted, this isn't the best way to meet women but it's a fantastic example of what I'm talking about here.

@@oglocbaby520 Women aren't like computers, that you put a right code in, and you're guaranteed a success. Not only we have various preferences, but also it's mor actually more about a actual connection than what's on a paper/'bio'. For me, personally, you'd be too tall, I'm myself not too tall and don't like very tall men. Personal preference. Also, there's other factors: face, behavior, tone of voice, mannerisms, character/personality, scent - many of the preferences are actually unconscious, and vary across the individual women.

    @oglocbaby520

@@joane24 I totally agree and as a man you are NOT going to be every woman's type. However, the point I was getting at is that there is an issue with many women with how picky they are, which is preventing them from potentially getting into relationships with men that are acceptable. That's why I was using myself as an example with that speed dating event I cited. If women at an event like this, who are obviously single and looking, are deeming a man that is 6'+ and in shape worthy of the reject pile I would like to know what it is that they are actually looking for. This is the reason why they are single and looking, it's because they are far too picky. They want a guy that is 6'+, which is the minority of men, but then he is too skinny. They find a guy that is 6'+ and has the right body type for them but they don't like attire. They find a guy that has the height, body and style but he has some quirks that bother them. Do you see what I"m getting at here? I believe the biggest issue is that women have this perception of overabundance due to social media and dating apps, where they feel they can be incredibly choosey. What ends up happening though is they just end up perpetually single because they are programmed to believe they can find some perfect match, which in reality doesn't exist.

@@oglocbaby520 I agree with you that I also see this (worrying) trend, I see it actually in both women and men, though you're right it's probably more often in women, that they're not even willing to give a chance and actually see if maybe he/she has a great character and a relationship partner. It's like people seem to have this ideal in their head and anything less means automatically out. And I agree dating apps skewed many women's expectations, to something that doesn't even make sense in real life when it comes to forming connection and building a relationship. Which is really stupid, it's not how people in the past, and I'm talking now just my parents or grandparents generation, used to date and form families. It used to be you meet someone, you get to know them at least a bit and see if you both 'click', but it wasn't just based on some long checklist, but getting to know someone as a person. It's really sad and I'm sorry for those who have to date today, from what I see it's really hard, especially for men.

More men need to understand that being independent is a great thing and nothing to be embarrassed about. I am 35 years old and have never had a girlfriend, I haven't had sex since the pandemic started and I haven't used a dating app or chased after a woman since that same time. I spent way too much time and energy on trying to chase women in my 20's which got me nowhere and I wasn't even getting rejected by women personally because I couldn't get to that point with them and it was soul crushing and caused too much depression and self hate towards myself until I turned my life around by hitting the gym, getting a better well paying job and most importantly doing skillful hobbies that I love that and have progressed at which occupies my time. Fast forward to now and I have bought my own house on a single income, I have some impressive PBs in the gym (not the greatest but I am chuffed) I play golf 3 times a week, I paint Bob Ross style, I have a little herb garden and succulents to look after amongst other things and I have to tell you that the moment I let go of women as something to be obtained in life my mental health skyrocketed and I am in an infinitely better place now financially, emotionally, health-wise etc why would I ruin my great balance by getting involved with a woman now? I don't believe in loneliness anymore, I thought I was lonely being alone but really I was just bored with nothing to do and once I started taking my fitness seriously, playing sport and doing fun hobbies my happiness went up the depression went down and "loneliness" was gone. It wasn't "loneliness" dragging me down it was a stagnating life bankrupt of activity. There is so much more to life than women and sex and it makes me sad to see so many brothers fall victim to the trap that our lives exist purely to chase women. I agree with the "go to the gym and take up hobbies" rhetoric we constantly get told but not as an end result to get women but as the end result to improve our health, our skills and our mental health. We don't need women we need activity

I'm 40, divorced but we co-parent. I tried dating after the divorce but it was a headache. I am more at peace just working, and coming home and spending time with my daughter. I lost the will to "need" a woman in my life. Often times I found out, they brought me more problems or they talked too much, or they complained about small things in life that can't take seriously. I have female friends, but honestly being around women all day at work is enough for me. In my personal life i'm good with the peace and control over my finances. I don't like spending money......most women I dated, they always had a need to go out, do something, go shopping etc. My mom and my Aunts were from a different generation (the 50s/60s) and I admire them because they are loving but also pretty chill, they never demanded a lot of attention from people, but they loved being around family. Women my age, it's hard to find that. Social media really jacked people up mentally. But again not all women are like this, but I just don't want to search anymore.

I recently broke up with my gf because I realized after many relationships that I just prefer my own company. So much less stress. I don't get lonely. I still have my friends when I want to get social, and not having to worry about someone else's happiness let's me focus on myself. I tend to get my workouts in more, eat better, and don't have to comprimise. Some may say its selfish, and maybe they are right, but when I realize I enjoy my evenings by myself verses having someone next to me I am OK with it. Not everyone who is single is lonely. Some people are just deeply introverted. My favorite Friday nights are staying in my own company creating music and watching Bill Maher. To each their own. If you are traditional and need someone next to you more power to you! Seems like most of the comments here are people saying they don't trust women due to cheating in the past and trust issues. I've never had this happen, and you could say I've dumped some great ladies. But at the end of the day I don't like other's energy in my space. I've always thought there is something wrong with me for not wanting to be in a relationship and have broke hearts because I was ready to try it again. No more.

I am a senior Boomer and I can say unequivocally that dating also sucked back in the days before social media. I was trying to navigate the Los Angeles dating scene in the mid to late 70’s and it was very frustrating. Being in L.A. probably made it worse. I seemed to have this propensity for being attracted to women who were totally wrong for me, which led to one frustrating “relationship” after another. After a while, sometime around 1978, I started to just accept the idea that being single and unattached was OK with me and I stopped seriously looking for a committed relationship with a woman. I met my wife in 1979 because she was dating a good friend of mine. We got to know each other as friends for almost a year and I liked her very much - she was sincere and down-to-earth, in direct contrast to the women I had been dating. After her relationship with my friend ended by mutual consent she and I started hanging out more together and I gussied up the courage to tell her that I really liked her and was having a hard time thinking of her as just a friend. She felt the same way about me and we have now been married for 38 years. We were both tired of the LA dating scene and we knew that we had found our match so we both were very happy to stop looking.

My dad had similar stories. Most of the educated women he met in the 1970s were aggressively feminist. At school, at work and socialising, the hate and loathing of men who were not their boss was really strong. He met my mother who was only partly feminist, who became full time mother when we were born in her 30s (very old age for a woman at that time). Most of my dad's friends ended up divorced, some killed themselves as a result of losing everything.

I saw my grandfather get taken advantage of by his wife, my father get taken advantage of by my mother, I've seen many other men get taken advantage of by their girlfriends, a good deal of my aunts and uncles are divorced. I can understand why people, especially young men, would prefer being single than to being in a relationship. If the sacrifice is high and unappreciated, many men, or women, will not take that risk. This is then compounded by other factors like economics and compatibility. Additionally, when you're single long enough, you realize it's not that bad. It just is what it is. I can firmly say by what I've witnessed, it's better to die alone than to marry the wrong person. In some ways, I think a lot of young men are simply tired and fed up and the results is a kind of strike. They feel that since voicing their concerns, no matter how eloquent or polite they are, they will be dismissed: nothing ever changes. So, they move onto more productive pursuits.

I'm 35 and haven't been on even one date in 12 years. It doesn't help that my student loan debt from a failed school required payments so high that I've lived together with my mother my entire life. Hopefully that changes this summer. Aside from the money issue (and I make good money now), I had to look back on the relationships that I *did* have and they all have one thing in common: high school. Everybody I dated I knew through or from back in my high school days. People that basically already knew me to some degree. I tapped that resource dry, there's nobody left. They all moved, became parents, got married, or died. I realized that because of that, I have no game. Absolutely no rizz at all. I literally don't know how to even flirt with somebody to show interest. My attempts at learning how have only pushed people away and caused larger rifts. It sucks learning this about myself so late. I've more-or-less resided myself to a life of being alone once I'm finally in my own place. I can't see it happening any differently.

I'm 37, single, but then I don't even know when I stopped caring. I don't mind having no gf, what bothers me more is people not respecting that I'm single, but after a thousand times it just becomes a minor nuisance that I end up forgetting after a few minutes or hours later. I guess I'm attractive, some girls smile and blush when I'm presented to her by friends, it's a good feeling, but idk honestly why you guys care so much about not having a gf. I like being single, I used to care til a moment I just thought it's good the way it is. I guess it's when I started being proud of myself. I run (running my first half marathon soon), i lift, i study a lot of topics. I'd enjoy having a beautiful gf, but the fact of being broke fuks me up, I wanna have a slightly stable source of income, which i don't. Blame's on me. No heart feelings if girls don't want me. If I have a crush on someone (been quite a couple of years) and she doesn't feel the same, it's ok, I'll feel bad for some time and that's it. I guess the problem is putting too much hopes and pressure on having a relationship and what people think of you. Honestly I just try to keep my distance from these people, also social media. Just go be who you would like to be. Enjoy the struggle, i guess we as men we enjoy doing that sht. A lot of things I do are very cheap and i feel like I'm in better shape than many of people of my age. I'm in better shape than I was since i peaked in my 18s, not as strong but my cardio wasn't even 20% close. I'm 37 and i feel young. Don't lose your time with all the pressure of being in a relationship or getting laid, that would be my advice to my younger self. This pressure of being successful, or not being a loser, it's just a matter of how you feel. Hell, I was happy in one of the worst years of modern world, during covid I came back to running and lifting and it was like starting life over again.

Men have to do a lot to become attractive in the modern era. Work out, work long days, focus hard on money etc. But men don't really need all that. They can be quite happy at 45-60k a year. Women don't present a compelling case for all that effort. A look at your married friends and a few are happy, but most are miserable, sexless, trapped in their own homes. Single men can still date if they want, but if they don't, it's quite nice having all your money and time to yourself.

Most men can live happy in a room with a mattress on the floor, a few essential items, and a fridge full of food while being able to do their favorite hobbies. If a woman entered the mix, all she has to do is be genuine and present, let him come home to a peaceful place, and he is fulfilled in life. Women on the other hand are constantly feeling they need more out of their situations. They may get what they want but are rarely satisfied. When a man comes in the mix, they want the most comfortable situation possible at your expense and to spend (your) money on things that serve no purpose, while they expect you to take them out on fancy dates regularly. If you do not check off every one of her 99 boxes, she is unfulfilled and will resent you for it.
