This video shows the complete 3-function joystick kit installed on a Case IH Magnum 7110 tractor. This joystick kit fits the following Case IH Magnum tractor models: 7110, 7120, 7130, 7140, and 7150. The complete joystick kit includes these items: joystick with buttons, 2 cables, wiring harness, load sense control valve with electric 3rd function, hoses to loader steel lines, hoses to power beyond block, power beyond block, all needed fittings and installation hardware, and mounting brackets for joystick and valve.

The hydraulic control valve is mounted to the front-right of the cab. The bracket the kit comes with is designed to bolt underneath the loader mount bracket, but int his case (with a Miller loader), the valve would have been too low to the ground, so the technician mounted it to the back of the loader bracket versus underneath. He had another bracket available that fit better, but one thing to be aware of with our joystick kits is, sometimes field modifications are needed when mounting the valve. This is because the setup of the loader can vary depending on what loader brand and model is on the tractor. Usually you can modify the existing bracket to make it work, but in some cases you may need to fabricate a different bracket. Another modification that may be needed is on the hoses going from the valve to the loader steel lines. In this kit, the hoses were too long, so the technician installing the kit modified the hoses to be shorter. The other components of the kit are plug-and-play and typically don't need modifications. The joystick mount bracket is bolted to the floor of the cab, and the cables and wiring harness run from the cab down through the floor of the cab to the control valve. The power beyond block is installed where an existing block that caps off the pressure, return, and load sense ports on the tractor is removed. An existing plug from this block is installed in the top of the power beyond block, and the existing fitting that was installed in the bottom of the block is installed in the power beyond block that replaces it. The power beyond block is installed on the existing bolts.
The joystick is mounted in the front-right section of the cab and the bracket is bolted to the floor. The joystick has two buttons for controlling the 3rd function. In this setup, the 3rd function is controlling the grapple. The two cables are used to control the front end loader and bucket.
