This video describes an all-electric hydraulic joystick kit that is designed to work on farm tractors that have the load sense (PFC - Pressure Flow Compensated) hydraulic setup. The kit is universal which means it will work with any make tractor that has PFC hydraulics - John Deere, Case IH, New Holland, AGCO, Challenger, Massey Ferguson, and McCormick farm tractors. The kit shown in this video is a 3-function kit; a 2-function kit is also available. This kit operates independent of the tractor's electronics. The wiring harness connects to the tractor's auxiliary plug, and this power source is all the kit needs to operate. All the software for the kit is included in a board on the hydraulic valve, and it comes pre-programmed from the factory. It is designed to be plug-and-play. The person installing the kit does not need to create any new settings for the joystick or the valve.
These are the items included in the kit: all-electric joystick, complete wiring harness, all-electric midmount hydraulic control valve, universal brackets for mounting the joystick and valve, flat-face quick couplers, installation hardware, joystick operational decal, and written installation instructions.
Items NOT included in the kit: hoses, tractor-specific joystick and valve brackets, and a way to tap into the tractor's pressure, return, and load sense hydraulics.
This video discusses how this all-electric kit is used to control a front end loader with a grapple on the bucket. However, the applications that this kit can be used for is unlimited. You could control a silage scraper, a snowplow, a bale squeeze, a manure pump spout, or any number of other things installed on a farm tractor that need to be controlled with a midmount hydraulic valve external to the tractor's hydraulics and electronics.
