Screw you. You don’t know how refreshing it is to see a modern day rock ‘n’ roll band. Especially one that brings justice to a classic. If you think this is disturbing, you weren’t a fan of any rock ‘n’ roll originally anyway. I’m going to bet you’re extremely young and this “rock ‘n’ roll” thing is new to you. Thank God for Joyous Wolf!

Went to the Deep Purple concert on October 10th at the Tower Theater in Upper Darby, Pa.(Philly). As I was buying my ticket at the box office I saw Robert(drums) and Nick(vocals) crossing the street towards me. I told them I had seen them on KZread and liked them and their music and would they play "Mississippi Queen" that night. Nick answered me "okay" and sure enough that night they played MQ. They rocked and the entire show rocked(DP included). After the show I got their autographs and they're nice guys. Good luck Joyous Wolf. Cheers!

We met these guys at a DP concert also and they were so engaging and just nice guys. what a concert!

Saw these boys at a stone sour concert and they fucken killed it. From the chest rumbling bass, badass cowbell, kickass guitar, groovy soulful vocals, and crazy fucking flips im completely stumped on why this band isnt as big ad they should be. I fucking love these guys and i hope to see them again soon.

Nick Reese...I’d say one of the best front men to come out of LA...in a VERY long time. He absolutely kills it...

I love this and my dad always said a performer uses the stage which is what he does!! Excellent!!

Saw these guys a few years back open for Buckcherry and in my opinion, stole the damn show. They sound JUST like this live and stage presence is incredible. I would definitely go see them again.

I'll never forget that night in the lava cantina in The Colony when y'all opened for Son's of Texas. Me and you talked all night long until the security had to kick me out. And all the bands signed my t-shirt, what a legendary night. Edit: if anybody wants to know what he's like in person, probably the coolest dude I've ever had a conversation with. And I hope y'all return to Dallas soon.

Now THAT is a front man, not only can he belt out the song with amazing talent, but you're just like WTF is he going to do next!! Solid M, effing cover guys, thanks!

OMG THESE GUYS ARE FANTASTIC!!! Everyone is SO talented!! And the lead singer A: has a GREAT jacket, and B: sounds just like John Fogerty!!! THESE ARE SOME DUDES I WOULD DROP MONEY TO SEE IN CONCERT!!!

Saw Joyous Wolf in Denver about 4 years ago at a little dive bar called Herman's Hideaway. They blew me away and I knew right then and there they would break out.

Finally found it! This very version gets played between downs/at timeouts, etc. at our Iowa Barnstormers games. I knew it wasn't Mountain, so I had to google it. Joyous Wolf, this kicks ass!

Saw that they are opening for Deep Purple when they come to Seattle. I love Mississippi Queen by Mountain and these guys do it justice. I usually don't care for covers but this one is decent.

You aren’t wrong IF you mean the studio version …. which was somewhat tamer than live versions where Mountain “amped it up”. Good catch … I’d say this splits the difference.

Just saw these guys in Grand Rapids. They were unreal good, the lead singer is a maniac and has a great voice. The guitar player was fantastic. I cant wait until their album comes out. Go see them if you have a chance!

All of his energy is natural, seeing this band live is a spiritual experience! What the camera doesn’t capture is the physical energy when your in the room, or the essence, but it’s there. You only get a taste of it here..

Mississippi Queen is my favorite rock song of all time and that is the absolute best version of that song I have ever witnessed. A MESSAGE TO LEAD SINGER, I have not seen that much charisma on stage since Elvis! Totally amazing the way you incorporated that gymnastic roll into your dancing and kept it all flowing with the music so smoothly. I was thoroughly impressed by that performance and can't wait to view more songs by Joyous Wolf. All you kids are wonderful. Wish I could get you under my label, but you are probably already established and I am brand new.lol Anyway, now you have a new fan, at the very least. God bless and good fortune with your career.
