Grantaire's 'No' made my heart shatter. And then the scene where Javert found Gavroche in the cart with Enjolras just crushed it into pieces.

I have seen Les Mis in London (2012) and it was a great performance but it saddens me that such performances are not memorialised - because every cast is unique and this performance deserves it. I can fully understand the copyright issues, but I wouldn't mind paying for a dvd to enjoy this again and again. Every cast is different and this young man is very special and I would have loved to see the full musical with this cast. Yes, I have watched the movie a hundred times, almost, but this stage performance is so wonderful. And kids grow up so fast and his voice has already changed

@@michaeljavert4635 Braden was AWFUL! I was literally embarrassed to play the OBC for my mom when he came on because he’s so bad. He cannot hold a tune to save his life. I mean, Little People was okay, but Look Down was horrible. I realize it’s not the easiest song to sing but even I can do it after lots of practice and troubleshooting and I’m not even a singer. A trained Broadway singer should be able to actually SING that part decently, not just sort of speak the words with a slightly sing song tone. He wasn’t even cute either.
