Jesus Christ is the Messiah and Saint Paul is the chief Apostle not St. Peter. The ancient church was giving St Peter credit because he was of that region and he was being honored by his people for his life’s work. Chief Apostle Paul is the author of 14 books in the New Testament not St. Peter. Peter was SimonPeter and the name means rock that’s what was said about him. THE ROCK THAT THE CHURCH IS BUILT ON IS JESUS CHRIST NOT PETER AND THE JEWS WERE PETERS MINISTRY. ST. PAUL WAS SENT OUT TO THE NATIONS AND PREACHED THE GOSPEL TO THE JEWS FIRST AND THE NON JEWS LAST. St. PAUL WAS THE LAST AND THE FIRST APOSTLE CHOSEN AFTER THE RESURRECTION OF CHRIST JESUS NOT PETER. THE ORTHODOX CHURCH AND CATHOLIC CHURCH GIVE TO MUCH CREDIT TO PETER AND IGNORE ST PAUL THE TRUE CHIEF APOSTLE OF CHRIST.

I like Josh Gates but the headline should read "Josh Gates meets archaeologists who uncovered Significant Biblical Mosaic Inscription". Josh found nothing and was shown what is buried. These two guys should get the credit and not Josh Gates for finding it.

Notice how most "Expeditions Unknown" episodes focus on Josh? Almost no actual archeological revelations are shown, usually just speculation, and Josh mugging for the camera every chance he gets.
