I feel the meaning of the lyrics, I really thought this song had connections to his personal life. Happy to know the story behind this song. I've been trying to search if there was another singer (foreign) of this, but couldn't find any except JMC and Christian Bautista. So I believed it must be a masterpiece of JMC. I like it so much that I kept playing it now and learn the lyrics.

Early this morning, I was taken aback as I learned that we have lost the life of my dear gf's father, who was fighting the virus for these past weeks. He was the one who brought confidence in me in singing. We blast out their karaoke every time I visit. We take turns singing. This song, I think this is his favorite tune. He sang it for his daughters on their 18th debut. And now I've been playing it on the loop, because he is the first one in my life who I've lost, and someone who I was very close with. I wished he could have sang it for us in the future. May he rest in easily in peace now.
