I really like how Jordan Peterson is always trying to learn the understanding of the human mind and sharing his cognitive understanding to help others make sense and better ourselves.

Me too...he is a cognitively sharp-witted individual. Every human being has a defined algorithm(say 99%) which for him its fascinating and easy to study.

The only problem with the advice offered as those working for Googl and Facebook etc. don’t think they need to get their act together. They see themselves as right in what they are doing.

Make 2019 the end of political correctness and intersectional identity politics. Freedom of speech is the cornerstone of democracy and modernity. Without it the whole edifice crumbles.

@@KonniWynn The people that OP was talking about isn't using they're free speech, necessarily. We can argue about if they exist or not, but as far as I understand it, per definition, "political correctness" implies people shutting down voices whom are not "PC". This is not "using their free speech", as you said.

1:25 You can tell that the word "stuff" was at the back of his mind but he wouldn't dare use that word because in his mind smart people are supposed to use more sophisticated language like "software". Its funny to me, cause generally the people who do this sort of thing aren't actually very smart. They feel the need to put on the superficial act because in reality they're insecure about their lack of true intellect. Kind of in the same way how people who on the inside aren't very confident, will tend to do things that create the impression of confidence on the outside...like speaking loudly or body language etc.

Kevin Zhou I think you’re reading a bit too much into a couple of words he used in passing. The point of language is communication, and saying “he’s invented a lot of technological stuff” isn’t quite as descriptive as he would have preferred to communicate what he was thinking. It’s also very telling that you seem to think you can read his mind and know that that particular word was in the back of his mind. You can’t know what’s going on in his head unless he tells you what he’s thinking and is truthful about it.

@@raydencreed1524 Talking about what that guy does was a tangent, so saying something generic like stuff or things would have been perfectly fine and wouldn't have made his main points any less clear. Bro, it's not that hard to read people. It doesn't mean you know exactly what they're thinking with absolute certainty, but when you've been around as long as I have, and when you have an IQ as high as I do...well, lets just say that you can pick up on a lot of things. For example I can tell just based on your response that you're a Jordan Peterson fan, white guy, probably late teen years?

Kevin Zhou Okay, I’ll concede on your point that saying something generic wouldn’t have been less effective communication, but I very much doubt he cares how smart he appears to anyone in that room. As for your assumptions about me, I’ll say that I don’t consider myself a fan of Jordan Peterson. I disagree with him on his views about religion because I don’t believe there’s a higher power controlling our lives and I haven’t watched much content relating to him because I find him to be kinda boring, and because I have other things to be doing. I know that a lot of young men have become fans of him though, and I can certainly understand why. He’s a surrogate father figure in a lot of ways. Now, it’s true that I am a white guy in my late teens, but when it comes right down to it, I don’t see how my response has anything to do with that, and I’m not going to pretend that I know anything about you beyond what you write here. Though, I do agree it isn’t difficult to read people. I can read pretty well people some specific people for specific reasons because I understand the ways they act because I used to act in those ways as well. One example of that that comes to mind is a kid who was in one of my classes. I was having a conversation with a friend of mine about a project in a different but related class that I had made unnecessarily difficult to construct. Because the specific kid I’m referring to wanted to present himself as incredibly smart and strong (both things that he explicitly stated) I had a hunch that he would try to get in on the conversation, and he did. He said that the project he was working on in the class we were in at the time was just as complicated as mine, not realizing that I was referring to a different class. I told him as much and he didn’t respond after that which made me laugh inside a little.

In this days that you can be as a social activist helping weak people to set up their mind and condemn looting at the same time and teach them how to present their idea to be heard, you censored my comment in instagram. So, don't say any bulshit . I'm not following anymore
