I still have a tinfoil hat theory that the reason Jordan is so venomous about Elliot is that he was attracted to him before the transition, and is now in a spiral.

probably. he’s the type of man to be attracted to innappropriately young women. and even more so the sort of man that would lash out aggressively when their target doesn’t align with binary gender standards. JP is the type of dude to hit on a trans woman and then attack her.

Does JP think flat chested cis women aren't women? Are cis men who have gynecomastia not men? Are men with that condition not allowed to get their man boobs removed? Are cis women not allowed to get breast reductions? Like there's so many surface level holes in what he's saying, not to mention the trans hate. His statements don't even hold up to cis people's conditions, which you think he'd go out of his way to support with how transphobic he's being. The contradictions and factual inaccuracies are all over the damn field. He really is spending a lot of energy on being angry. Can someone sign him up for a gender studies class at his local community College? But like damn, what he says falls apart for queer folks and cis folks. Also what about non binary people who get subtle gender affirming surgeries? Do those not count cuz they're not obvious enough for him to notice and get angry about? Headaches.

There's definitely something to be said about the difference between the trans woman and biological woman experience being different and having unique struggles for each, but the way Macy Gray expresses that fact is with the intonation that the trans woman experience is invalid. She's not starting a constructive discussion, but rather trys to make trans women feel "other" by saying they are not the same. It's a critical difference in messaging.

Terfs often seem to forget about intersectionality and think that, just because a trans woman was once perceived as a man then they automatically experienced a life of privilege, which that’s not how privilege works at all; there’s a lot of factors at play (i.e. race, class, sexuality, etc.) not to mention trans women who are in the process of transitioning or when they are viewed by society as men being feminine, they don't enjoy of the privilege terfs claim. The same thing goes for cis women; intersectionality plays a big role in how they experience life as a woman. No woman's experiences are the same, be it cis women or trans women.

There are no biological women. There are female people raised as girls who grow up to be women. Woman is a social designation not a sex. That's what the word female is for. If a female person identities with their gendered up-bringing and grows up to be a woman, she is cis-gender. Her anatomy is not her gender, but they are linked.

A social construct that defines the way certain people dress and act, which is all made up shit. b) even if there is a physiological difference between the two, there are so few situations that that actually matters, outside something like sport where we do have strict rules about body chemistry and makeup. (This is not a comment on what should or shouldn’t be allowed in sports, just that it should be acknowledged there can be differences physiologically) Ultimately though, outside of fringe cases, it doesn’t affect you. Not sure why people elevate celebs opinions. They are in the end just another human being. For example, Bette Midler's boomer opinion means nothing to me. I want to see the new Hocus Pocus because of nostalgia. If Bette had said something I agree with it would not want to make me see the movie anymore than I already do, nor does her saying something I disagree with deter me from seeing it. To answer, it's about reach and potential harm. Reach: Jordan Peterson has a massive audience who will listen to him and spread his ideas. Potential harm: Jordan's ideas are hateful and also dangerous when put into practice. It is in our interest to stop these ideas from becoming real. So by talking about how Peterson is wrong, we can combat the misinformation he's spreading and in a way, reduce his reach and therefore reduce his potential harm. It's like if Peterson's bullshit was a virus and that complaining about him is a vaccination clinic.

Wrath would be extreme anger. I do understand the difference of someone being annoyed/angry vs. presenting strong vengeful hatred or resentment towards a particular person (or people) for seemingly no reason. Jordan is entitled to have whatever opinion he wants. There are plenty of ways to get a point across without being spiteful/hateful in the delivery. I am not Trans so I don't have any personal stake in these exchanges, but since we aren't given a user's manual when we are born, I have a hard time wrapping my brain around how anyone can say what is or isn't the correct way to live, provided you own personal decisions are not hurting anyone.

He agreed to the ToS, as we all do when we sign up for any online service, so he knew he was going to be in violation. He made a choice to intentionally and publicly say what he did knowing darn well the reaction it was going to get from both sides of the fence - which he was free to do - just to be clear, but it was still his choice. He could have deleted the tweet but he instead chose to double down. Freedom of speech docent equal freedom from consequences. How is the anger warranted?

The bulk of Elliot Page's acting career he was billed as Ellen Page. One of the most successful movies they've ever been in Juno was before he transitioned. It's not unreasonable for it to take time to get it right. It doesn't mean he or anyone else that makes the mistake isn't an ally.

Macy gray is my sons’ 3rd cousin (on their dads side). The man she calls her father is not her real father, her mom had an affair. & she’s the spitting image of this man. She has a half sister who looks & sounds exactly like her. & I dunno if she even knows all this. Weird they’ve brought her up, I hadn’t heard anything about her in years either.

I think it's completely understandable why some people do not understand transgenderism. I think some people who claim they get it fully don't actually. What bothers me is for some of the people who don't understand it, also don't either do any research on it or only for confirmation bias. & I am disturbed by how evil/judgemental people get just for someone innocently living their lives. For me, even trying to research it, idk if I will ever 100% fully understand it, since I am not trans, & I don't think I would care if I was born male or female. I just dress, act, & live my life the way I want to. I'm lucky to have that privilege. From what I've understood, is that it is much deeper than that. My sister has come out as trans for the past year & I support her & would never abandon her for this choice. However, can't say the same for her dad/his wife & some other family members. What really annoys me is how people who don't understand transgenderism is that they don't understand the difference between gender & sex. I wish that would be more deep dived into & explained to these a holes. The only worry I have with being trans is the risk of surgeries & mostly hormones some of them go through. It's all risky. Anyway, as you can tell I'm still trying to learn & understand more.

Ignorance certainly is a problem. In regards to gender and sex, they are indeed different however, only one applies to us. We have a sex. Gender is not related to us but rather nouns that don’t have a sex. Words can be gendered for example. Not people. People have abused language as of late and it’s causing a lot of confusion. Even the idea of “feeling like woman” as a man is odd as it would first require one to define what it is to be a woman in the first place. Regardless, to each their own. Sexuality is somebody’s private matter. None of our business and does not need to be in public else it will and be scrutinized publicly. This is not negotiable. Keep it yourself or people will give their opinion on it.

It’s not about understanding trans people if you have a basic understanding of biology wait not even that if you have a brain and two eyes a brain that has critical thinking and logical thinking I should say, there are two genders male and female that is it no more you can say intersex but that’s less then 1% of people on the planet so if you know that there 2 genders as a fact you would then go onto say that there’s two sexes because sex is just another word for gender that’s why we have those two words used interchangeably on documents because they literally mean the same thing you can say there’s two so if we can’t agree on that fact I’ll say again FACT then we have to end the conversation here I’ll give you the benefit of doubt and hope you can think past level 2, people make the argument that sex is a social construct but how? Sex isn’t fluid we don’t get to pick our own words Zubi a creator who became a woman for one day and broke the lifting record for women made a comparison that I’m gonna use because you can understand it I hope, race makes more sense to be interchanged because that is a real social construct we aren’t literally black or white or Yellow and whatever other color but we relate where we are from to that colour so if someone said I don’t know what race I am if I asked where their parents where from I would be able to come up with a colour but if you took away all the social conditioning we would just be humans with different features, Sex can’t be fluid since it’s not a construct it’s a fact there’s the male species and the female species only in the past 25 years have we tried to say no biology and facts don’t matter but the reality is facts don’t care about weather you believe in it or not a fact is a fact no matter how you choose to look at it a fact is just an objective truth so this leads to my next point, if a fact is an objective truth and it’s still true weather you believe in it or not how can you be something that you are literally not every fiber of your being every atom in your body points towards what you are but you are saying no, I’m not that I’m the other gender that’s not logical is it ,in fact that is literally the definition of delusion to believe in something that isn’t accurate or true. So now we have established the reality of the situation and how sex and gender isn’t interchangeable nor is sex a social construct since that’s just woke leftist bullshit and I’m not on the right or left so don’t take what I say with a bias. People are so ignorant to the programming that’s being fed down their throat they are accepting things that aren’t based in reality if I came to you saying I’m an Asian man and I’m white you would think I’m crazy yet if I’m a man wanting to be a woman that’s acceptable for some reason it doesn’t make any sense also trans people have a higher suicide rate then the Jewish people that were living under nazi German rule so who has better treatment the delusional people or victims of war, looking at that statistic alone should tell you all you need to know I hope you go on to look into what I have to say because if you have a brain you know I’m right in fact history would agree with me only now when we have literally everything in life like the best quality of living the best facilities and so on can we sit here in our privileged life’s and make problems out of thin air shit like this isn’t going on in Africa or in Mexico or Brazil or literally any country that isn’t in the us or eu we are living so comfortably now we can literally create problems may I add, trans people are a minority and we are pandering to them so hard for what reason? We’re allowing them to educate our children for what reason? We’re pandering to women for what reason? Mens issues aren’t being addressed for what reason what is the agenda they’re pushing? Why are they pushing it? These are all questions you should be asking yourself why are they doing this what is the reason for this only then will you have the answer if you don’t want to seek this information for yourself I can answer those questions but this comment has been long enough, I’d also recommend to stop watching this idiot L3L3 he is the poster boy of what not to be as a man he is the exact opposite of what a man should be
