Watched this live, I was on the floor crying laughing

The best part is that no one gave a shit when it happened. The organist still played. The mascot stayed in character. The kid who threw it didn't even go check to see if he was alright and the guy catching it just ran out to give the kid who threw it a hug.

When I watched this happen live, I was home by myself and I laughed out loud for 10 minutes straight. The Red Sox 1967 Impossible Dream team was standing right behind him and they were all cracking up...Carl Yastremski, Ken Harrelson...all dying laughing. The poor dude was writhing in pain behind home plate, and everyone was laughing their asses off giving the kid high fives. Hilarious unintentional comedy.
