But if Trump is President.......then what is happening is happening under his presidency....... I've seen so many interviews with his supporters like this. Trump has nothing to hide. Then why won't he allow his administration staff to testify at impeachment hearings........And they are immediately in all kinds of trouble, rapidly and clumsily withdrawing their previous words and displaying the mental equivalent of tottering around trying to stop a fall to the ground.

What Trump has exposed by being so openly racist himself is that half the US population are racists as well. That's a staggering number. This is really disheartening. I've been trying to hold fast to the idea that most people are still reasonable, that it's fundamentally just policy we disagree on. But then every one of these events Klepper goes to, the conspiracies and denial of reality seems to get worse. A lot of people are really far gone.

I’m not denying religious extremists can and do homeschool their children so they can indoctrinate them into their cult, but the current industrial, mass-schooling model is not a panacea. I homeschool my kids and I am a science-believing atheist. I just prefer self-directed learning.
