always a good day when we get a board review from tj
My MET arrives on Thursday. Can’t wait to try it out on my next trip to Co. Slashy, and agile at Med speeds is right up my alley
This has motivated me for next seasons rides in japan! Definitely gabbing one.
I have the 158 and I absolutely love it.
I love the review. Such a fun board to ride. Great point on waxing it often will take into consideration. Thank you!
3D plus extra contact points? I love it. I can't wait to demo this when it comes to my shop
This is my favorite board ever I rode it all season so far best surf slasher ever !
Love your review ! Thanks for the content !
Same board, same bindings riding in Verbier. We’ve not had a lot of snow this season and I’m surprised how well the edges hold. Great board!
It was awesome to run into you at Olympic valley afew days ago! So cool that you’re as nice in person as on camera! If you’re around for a while and wanna hike the back bowls at alpine respond here and let’s ride!
Awesome review for an awesome board!
That 3d shape looks super interesting. Glad you commented on how it feels for flat ground moves

I had the Bataleon Boss, and just purchased the mind expander twin after watching that review. So far It is a great playful snowboard.

Which one did you find more “fun” over the course of the season?
@grailoc

@@holeblocker the mind expander was a better fit for me considering my snowboarding level which is average level. the boss is stiffer so better fit more experienced riders, which I hope to be one of these days.
Such a fun board awesome
TJ! You should do a review on the new 2023 Mind Expander! I know you loved the old rocker one for powder and I’m super curious to hear your thoughts on the new camber one!
hey TJ love the vids man is there gonna be a review on the jones mountain twin?
One of the best top sheet graphics out there! So psychedelic!
Looks like it would be fun to fo some All Mtn Exploring with. The Jacket is Red hot TJ
TJ, on a sintered base you mentioned you have to wax it often, how often is that? Does that mean every day or every 3 to 4 days or other?
This boards sounds bad ass.
need to see a Goliath / Boss comparison vid
Hi, 'm looking for a board to get into the freestyle but that also has magnetraction or a system that offers the same quality grip. Currently, I'm using the TRice Pro but I find it really stiff for buttering. Would you give some advice? I've checked the Headspace, Box Knife, Jones Tweaker, but I don't know if the flex of those boards is going to be soft enough for a beginner.
Will you be reviewing this mountain twin this year? Board has a softer flex than when you reviewed it a few years ago.

I have both the old and new Twin Sister (same board as the Mountain Twin really if you look at the specs) and the new one is definitely softer (though still on the stiffer side and very stable), but you especially notice the change in torsional flex with biax vs triax.
Yo man, where were you pulling those pow clips at? VP?
Can you review the aviator 2.0
Ide like to see how you like it hitting a back country jump or riding cliffs and deeper snow.
Can you review the Arbor Draft Camber please!
What is the legendary background music you use tj
Always love the content. I know you seem to be a big proponent for Bataleon and 3bt. Is it really that good? Also do you have any insight how 3bt does on icy conditions? I live in the NE of the us so we get hard icy snow out here.

I got the Bataleon Goliath 21 and been riding it in some icy conditions in Germany. I’d say the 3bt isn’t bad with ice. If you put pressure on the edges the full edge grips and you have all the stability you need. Also what i really liked is the super smooth edge to edge transitions, no matter the snow conditions. Hope you’ll find a board you like bro. 🙏🏼

Both my bf and friend have Bataleons which they've ridden in icy conditions, and really, they don't recommend it if you have another option. The 3BT does make you work harder because the contact points are lifted, but honestly it's more just that Bataleons have standard side-cuts, no edge tech at all (mag, Underbite, Grip-tech, etc). Of course people have been riding radial side-cuts for years on ice before all the innovations, so you can make it work. However, if it's something you're dealing with a lot, you will have a better time on something with extra edge grip. This is where Jones boards really shine, as they have both spoon and mellow mag.

I’m also curious about the Marhar lumberjack’s 3D base feel with their extra contact points, anyone here have insight on that board?
I just want that graphic on the regular mind expander lol
we need a nitro optisym board review
What would you choose? This or the Yes Greats?
What size do you wear in the volcom pants? Thanks
Jones Mind Expander Twin or Capita Spring Break Powder Twin?
What is an indy tweaked backwards called??? Lol saw it
Hi, could you say what is the resort in this video?
hey TJ , do you think as 5ft 9 , and 220 lb i should take the 154 or 158? great review! thanks!

thank you! I would say at 220 lb you'd enjoy the 158 more. this thing is quite playful in the tips, I was riding the 154 here at 155 lb
Hey first for once. Love the content man.

Thanks Brody!
how does it compare to the twin pig from ride ?
👍
Sounds like it rides like Bataleon Magic Carpet. Which might be cool since Bataleon is discontinuing the MC for the Party Wave Twin.

They are similar, but where I'd say the MET has an advantage is the mellow mag.
