Boomers generally liked conservative rock. The punks themselves the bands were technically boomers but probably hated many of their dipshit contemporaries. Some have since become archetypical boomers mind you.

Yes, guitar part is perfect end and so Edgar Wallace theme from his televised 1950's murder mysteries. I suspect JB actually IS Edgar Wallace and if he'd had a 50's Playtex tight on instead the game would be up cos' they were see-through. He always could thicken the plot.
