Dance with me the gallowdance
As long as we're not hanging
As long as we still can my love
we both know the string is always ready
Dance with me the gallowdance
for all the degradation is this land
Dance with me the Gallowdance
as disorientated as you can

Yeah, love this aspect, too. Can imagine that critics would use it against the group for aiming heavily at nostalgia, though, and not completely without reason. The members obviously being as young as they seem, I would forgive them and book it under homage, obviously!

How do we know if they’re depressed? There’s this band called warpaint who thinks it’s funny that most of their fans think their songs are all about being sad and breakups but the band says that’s very far from the truth and they have nothing but fun making music.. 🤷🏻♀️

I think that "Die young" being played at the beggining of the song is not just coincidence, but a way to face two different types of people. While some take the thought of dying young as something scary that push you to live and have fun, others are close to pushing themselves to die young.

I'm not sure what happened to her, but i hope she is doing well and hesn't given up. This song continues to remind me of her, bringing back some really happy memories. It's really a great song, in all aspects. The mix of german and english, the instrumental, it gives a calming effect to me that i continue to love.

I was angry for years because I was abandoned till one day, I felt depressed and flirted with idea of suicide. I say flirted because, at the time, the idea felt romanticized. At that moment, I knew depression ran deeper than just some heartbreak in my life. With that said, I've spent my whole life fighting to be normal and more colorful like your average person. The beauty extracted from pain is fascinating. We do not choose to be sad or depressed, but people like us have a more sensitive perception. we are not afraid to look into the eyes of pain and feel this fatal attraction. Maybe I'm crazy .... maybe not. Perhaps we are all old souls here and we miss a lot of past lives where we enjoyed together something great that was lost with time.
