Superbad is probably the most realistic high school movie in terms of how the kids actually talk to and interact with each other. We'll never get another movie with teenage kids calling each other the "F" word....the 3 letter one.

So stupid. The fact you cant say fig newton without getting banned is absurd. The word was acceptable 6-7 years ago and it's hilarious to call your straight friends that. They will probably eventually ban "douchebag" too. It will somehow be deemed too offensive. The only offensive words allowed will be slurs for conservatives.

i agree with that, but for me personally, and i only speak for myself...it didn't quite help the actual movie itself in terms of the writing. It felt like 2 dudes standing around cursing and not much else...which is exactly what real life would be, but without punchlines or a bigger set up, i felt it was just cursing for the sake of cursing. anyway, it's all good. :)

Jonah Hill's performance as Efraim Diveroli in War Dogs is some of the greatest acting ever recorded. Definitely his best dramatic acting, he brought so much to that character and that story and really gave it his all. I wish they included more talking about that movie, Jonah just kinda said it sucked to film around the world. I would've liked to hear about his approach to Efraim and more about that process to present that story. One of my favorite movies.

As you get older it gets harder to spend as much time with them. Become someone else’s favorite person & they might become yours. It’s just tough to say that about artistic heroes because if you were to actually spend time with them you’d see that they’re just some guy with a lot of problems like anyone else

He’s got this underlying intelligence and awareness while at the same time being so hilarious just through an expression on his face or the way he says something. His role in Cyrus was priceless and a perfect role that highlights the skills of Jonah Hill. He’s also an another example of how comedic people are often able to do serious roles whereas the opposite is not often the case (further proof that to do comedy well takes serious talent and emotional depth as well). Jonah is also one of the all time best guests on talk shows like on Conan especially. His interview on Conan and Channing Tatum is laugh out loud hilarious.

Channing Tatum became far more likeable after 21 Jump Street and was actually really funny in both films. Also, even though he only had like 15 minutes of screen time, he was was pretty awesome in The Hateful Eight

dude is so underrated. the elevator scene in War Dogs was incredible. there r so many little strokes of real genius in his performances. not sure if he digs deeper into characters than other but he seems to understand some not so nice things that we have inside
