This is a beautiful rendition of Psalm 51, which has been prayed in the Church for centuries as one of the “Penitential Psalms.”

I have sung this Psalm to God more than a few times in my life

How have I never heard this I used to use part of that psalm of David Create in me a clean heart and still do bc he was known as a man after Gods own heart bc no matter what the sin, how horrible when he repented, he didnt do it again....truly turned....he believed God loved him enough to forgive him and he moved forward....I dream of that...much love

+Amber Millsaps Well it is a lyrical issue, lyrics of a song are more important than anything else. What is the song saying? It is giving glory to God or is it a feel good song? These are hard questions. This song is literally a psalm or heavily derived from one (psalms are meant to be sung). Why does it surprise us that the most powerful things are directly from the Word of God?

Half of the stories were ignored by the Nicean Bishops and none have been proven to be based on fact. This ‘Bable’ book is backed up by absolutely no facts and no evidence. It is not proof for any god(s) ....(or of any jesus...) It is a historical novel...... Only! The Bible is proof of a book ONLY (certainly not evidence of any gods...)
