Jon Cryer never got enough credit for the success of this show. His comedic timing with Sheen was perfect. Just one man’s opinion.

Charlie and John's timing and chemistry was the soul of the show. Never really liked the last 4 seasons after Charlie's exit. I still go back and watch some old episodes and they are as much fun. Seriously good old days.

Gotta throw in their mom in the comedic chemistry success. I love hearing their 3 way jabs showing their complicated relationships. It was great. The last 4 years lacked that fire.

He is such a good actor, and it seems like a fantastic person. I'm glad he's doing well.

After considering a multitude of comedic actors, Crier got the role. Let's face facts shall we? ANYONE with comedic talent could have easily followed Charlie's extrodindany talents in Comedy, acting, etc. Jon played a supporting role, as did the other cast members of 21/2 men. Rather than reach out a helping hand when a friend is in need...Jon chose to take an entirely different approach...writing a "Tell All book" about Charlie Sheen. Backfired big-time Jon!! Sheen FANS were and still are infuriated with the back stabbing, unmitigated lack of ethics, taking advantage of his colleagues misfortune!! Hanging onto as much of the Media Spotlight from a fellow human beings downfall. Wasn't a manager employed by Jon who should have perhaps mentioned that this was so wrong Dear Jon on so many levels??? Hmmmm? Are you WINNING JON?? TLC

2023 and I watch at least 3 episodes s night. Love this show puts a smile on your face, and brings joy. I love both Charlie and Alan they bounce of one antoher really well. Alan was still great when Charlie left the show it wasn't the same but they tried and Alan still delivers 👏

Jon Cryer is a fantastic guy, no pretentions, how refreshing! he's an incredible actor who played his part to perfection!

Very refreshing. Seems like a genuine, humble person that has been drastically underrated as an actor. Thank you for all your iconic roles!

He speaks like Alan. Alot of actors change the way they talk for their roles but when they sound exactly like their character in real life, it's just so satisfying lol

This show died when Charlie Sheen was let go. The reason Two And a Half Men was such a great series, was that Sheen & Cryer has such great chemistry together. They were completely different, and therefor they complimented each other very well. That dynamic just wasn't there with Ashton Kutcher -Who is otherwise a great actor and comedian as well :7

I loved Alan with Charlie, together they made the show, when Charlie left it was never the same, it actually went down the hill, it became a completely different show, and not a good one at that.

He is a great actor. Whoever thought less of him in the acting world missed out on one of the best. Love his work. Wish him all the best 👍🏼👏🏼👏🏼

Although I loved each and every character on 'Two and a Half Men' I think John Cryer was a comedic genius and the nucleus of the program's success. We watch reruns of this show daily and have for years. We can say the lines before the characters do, we have watched so many times. Regardless, it's the characters exceptional talent and delivery that makes it funny again and again. As long as the reruns are showing we will watch them. You rock John Cryer!

I met John years ago. He is one of the few, genuine, friendly, honest, happy, optomitstic actors in Hollywood. when I met Matt Broderick, he seemed oddly paranoid, distant and cold. Jon Cryer is a class act.

Anne Liesveld Martin Sheen is 79 now and Charlie is 54 not a young buck either but his dad has lived a long life but Martin almost died back in 1978 when suffered a massive heart attack during filming of his movie apocalypse now. Martin Sheen is healthier now as he was a severe alcoholic and used drugs in his younger years.

I am so grateful for his character of Duckie. Pretty in Pink is one of my favorite movies and Duckie stole that movie.

He’s so down to earth. One person who came out on the other side of Hollyweird. Kudos to you Jon.

He was the lifeline of the show two and a half men. And that's the reason why emmy also honoured him twice. He is an actor in a million. ❤❤❤

The best part about this show was both the actors had traits of their character, which made it natural.

I have ALWAYS loved Jon Cryer and had a major crush on him when I saw him in Pretty In Pink! I am so glad he is with Lisa Joyner I think she is so beautiful inside and out.

he's a natural comedian. I never thought he was gay though but more of a cheerful person. I loved watching two and half men because he was in it and when charlie sheen left I think he made an adjustment to still make the show lively and funny.

Jon, If you ever read this, I want you to know that I loved "Hiding Out" so much that I bought a copy of it back when buying a new VHS movie cost you upwards of $45. I still quote some of the lines from that movie. I've shown it to my kids and other family members and friends and we never understood why it wasn't a big hit. You've always been one of my favorite actors. Thanks so much for all of your hard work.

Oh I love that movie too, oh it wasn't a big hit? that's a real shame! I thought it was a great film, Need to see it again, I have it on vhs but can't play tapes no more :/

It saddens me that there is such distance between Cryer and Sheen after all the years they worked together. Sheen should realize that in the end he was falling apart and he shouldn't hold his cast members hostage for his mistakes....They created such memorable magic for so many years, how can Sheen be bitter about something that was between him an the company not him and Cryer? Was and Outstanding show and like Married with Children I wish it would never have ended.... God bless all of you for the joy that you gave all of you viewers and I hope that you do some good with what you earned from it...

But Charlie did apologise though so I don't think it's a case of on really bad terms now, I just think it'd be tricky to work with such a person even though they had such great chemistry on screen

He was the most talented one on that show...... his character made Charlie look so much better! He’s clearly the only sane well-balanced person on that show too. I wish him well !

Sometimes when i watched two and a half men it was kinda sad alan was basically living in a world where people were cruel to him for no reason but i could tell there were people who loved him deep down his brother charlie did love him and berta was very fond of him and i think judith still kinda loved him and even his mother did love him.

Yeah Kutcher was terrible

"I've been an effeminate heterosexual dork my whole life." He'd be fun to have lunch with.

He's real and that doesn't fit well in to the Hollywood world. But, for some reason like Michael J Fox he succeeded and stayed true to himself.

I watch him every night in reruns! Such a great way to end an evening.

Without charlie sheen the show wasn't the same again, but jon cryer is a great n funny actor,wish him the best

Always enjoyed Jon on 2 1/2 Men. Perfectly cast to play the neurotic and insecure Alan Harper. Glad he found success in his professional life and happiness in his personal life.

I can't stand Molly Ringwald, she's just an overrated actress and hasn't done anything memorable since the 80's ended. I think John doesn't deserve an spoiled woman in his life.

As far as being mistaken for Matthew Broderick, everybody likes Ducky better than Ferris Bueler.

I love this guy. He and Charlie had magic and always made me laugh

What a great actor a classy guy and very intelligent man .

I find it hysterical that he played Lex Luthor's nephew in Superman 4 and than so much later play Lex himself on Supergirl. He did a great job on that.

Sheen and Cryer had great chemistry. TAHM will always be my favorite show. (Not a Ashton Kutcher fan.)

I guess I am one of the few who really appreciated the show when they focused more on the neurosis of Jon Cryer's character, Alan. I thought it grew funnier.

What a nice guy. It must have difficult dealing with Charlie when he went into meltdown, but they go way back and were in Hotshots together before 2 and a half men, so it was nice he was just concerned for him and not looking to bad mouth him or anything like that, eventho Charlie was rude to him.

Jon Cryer is one of the best actors that we've ever seen on TV. I think Sheen actually learned a lot about timing and delivery from watching Jon. He's a phenom on stage too.

I NEVER thought he was gay. He was awesome as a kid and then I fell in love with him all over again when he grew up. Ducky is the best.

He's such a loveable guy!
