    So happy for Jimmy👍I remember subscribing to his channel 4 years ago when he had maybe 30k subs, but it was obvious even then that he had something very unique to offer to the game. The lipreading is always great stuff, but his knowledge on the game is right up there with the best of them.

    It’s always great to see Jomboy on the show, but it baffles me that they don’t talk about cricket. Jomboy has great breakdowns and is a guest commentator in the MLC, was also very involved in the recent T20 World Cup. These two talking about it will help grow the game in the US.

    Honestly we saw speed like this (shockingly another Reds player) Billy Hamilton was like this when he was on the base path, I remember he had 6 stolen bases vs the Cardinals against Molina and even tagged up and scored on a pop up to shallow right field that the 2nd baseman caught.. Hamilton just couldn’t get on base as much so he fizzled out but when on base he was just as deadly

    They should really trade gleyber and DJ and Rodon Gleyber has some upside but just hasn’t shown it since his rookie year and DJ is absolutely washed but has the potential to bring veteran presence and good depth to anywhere. Rodon is an absolute liability and just can’t play in NY. I’d trade him for whatever you can get for him bc anyone else could do just as good if not better.

For him to say the stupid crap that he says like "it's all right in front of them", "they're turning a corner", "it's a long season", "they know how to play the game". THEY DON'T KNOW HOW TO PLAY THE GAME!! THAT'S SHOULD BE OBVIOUS BY NOW AND BOONE AND THE COACHING STAFF ARE CLUELESS!! I love Stanton but he's not the answer. I love Rizzo, Lemaiheu, Torres but they have to go. It's really funny how the Yankees keep their talent in the minors forever and the other teams bring them up at 21-25 no problem. I'm done.

  • @growingfromscratch8517

    Correct, MLB is no longer the national pastime because of the economics of MLB INC. It's pay to play without a real salary cap in place. MLB has become a league of about 8 teams. That's why it's regional, and not a national thing anymore. I wish the small market franchises would break off and start their own league, and then see how financially successful the Yanks, LA, Braves, Philies, Boston etc are without the talent pipeline from the other teams. And it doesn't help that the majority of coverage from ESPN to podcasts are all biased towards the major market teams. How the hell is Milwaukee supposed to develop a national following when they're rarely talked about or put in prime time TV slots? Poor Aaron Judge and the Yanks.. cry me a river. The insulting economic imbalance of MLB has made rediscover the simple, low cost joy of baseball at the town ball level. Guys playing for the love of the game, not their next big contract. P.S. Love the Warehouse Games channel. Stick with blitzball, and make it family friendly. I curse too, but I would never publish it when I know there are kids watching. That's a thing that used to be called "class". C'mon Jimmy ... be better.

  • @ltsgoyanks

    @ltsgoyanks

    21 күн бұрын

    Yes.. let's go to no guaranteed contracts and cut players whenever you want and let players do what they want and collude and form superteams. Annnd, hold out whenever you want... that'll fix it.

  • @growingfromscratch8517

    @growingfromscratch8517

    19 күн бұрын

    @@ltsgoyanks yeah, that’s not what I’m proposing at all. Sign a contract like we do in real life middle class America expecting both parties to honor it or get sued for breach. A reachable/manageable salary cap for all franchises prevents the ridiculous mega contracts. Star players will still get the bigger deals as they should, but a cap provides a check and balance. Owners that don’t honor their part of the bargain get sued, maybe even lose draft picks. Players that hold out are sued and banned from the league for 10 years.
