Remember that beat left go soft on crime like in California with their proposition 47 that went soft on crime or Beetlejuice in Chicago with the safe t act, Orin New York releasing a hardened criminal without even paying bail or the fact that AG brags release date murderer and soon after committed another murder. Or the five trans Mass shooters and the one non-binary Mass shooters. It's like our liberal news agencies they run off the same script like pre-planned and pre-written. IMO. And in my belief it's going to get much worse. Just saying.

23 year old with and extensive criminal record. Unreal. Just how does a 23 year old with and extensive criminal record be out roaming around in public? At some point the justice system needs to get its act together. Not sure why its so difficult. If your crimes involve a victim you belong behind bars. If there isnt a victim you dont belong behind bars. Yet its the exact opposite. 100 bucka says this guys family were all fed up with his crap and would no longer let him leech off of them and thats what led to this.

  • @DuckiesDad08

This is an understandable gut reaction, but it lacks perspective. Our prisons everywhere are overflowing. You can only fit so many people in them, and the people staffed within them are already overburdened. If we want to build more prisons, either our already dysfunctional government has to build more, or private industry builds them for profit. And marrying profit and our justice system ALWAYS leads to pressure to fill those prisons, then inevitably, corruption. So, logically, some would say “let’s empty the prisons of those who have non-violent charges like marijuana”. But that process is a long and extensive one. Meanwhile, the clearing out of low level offenders won’t outpace the incarceration of dangerous offenders. So, then what? I’ll say quickly: The answer lies in ACTUALLY rehabilitating low level offenders and combatting the conditions that lead the masses to imprisonment. There is no quick solve. This is it. Our “leaders” are the reason a 23 year olds roam the streets with long rap sheets. However, they rely on you seeing each individual criminal as the problem, and not the mechanisms they write into law, with intent, as the real reason you suffer the agony of murder via the internet every single day.

@@DuckiesDad08 nice thought, but in reality only a very few CAN be rehabilitated. No method or group has ever managed better than a 20% recovery rate, and 20% is VERY generous. Rehabilitation needs to be a priority, but it will NOT solve the greater problem, only take a fraction of the pressure off, less even than letting low level crimes ppl go. Neither solution fixes the problem enough.

So half the time they answer a question and we have no idea what they are talking about when they answer. The other half of the time we end up having to guess what they are talking about. They made everyone wait 3 days for as many cameras as possible to make it to town only to have a self congratulatory circle jerk and refuse to answer any questions only for it to come out that they had all the information to make the arrest 2 days after the murders.
