Keoghan’s laugh sounds like a giddy prankster who’s got the upper hand, similar to Romero, and I feel like that’s a good place to draw from, everyone is trying to be either Hamil or Ledger, and for good reasons, they’re two of the best, but we’ve seen the “Comedian” and the “Criminal”, now it’s time to see the “Clown”.

@@watermelonjuice8524 The fact that I actually read someone comment on a previous post about Gotham, saying Cameron had ruined the show astonished me. Even if people think Jeremiah wasn’t exactly ‘the Joker’ per say because he wasn’t “unpredictable” (even though I thought he was) and too smart or intelligent, I still found myself absolutely amazed by both Jerome and Jeremiah. Objectively Jerome is the better Joker, in the sense that he’s the actual Joker, but if we separated the twins from their deception of Joker, I think Jeremiah was better. The fact that Cameron managed to play two objectively similar but different characters and make both of them feel unique just goes to show how underrated he is as an actor. It’s sad to think that Jerome and Jeremiah are kinda forgotten. They’re such good Jokers imo. Instead of focusing on how bad Jared Leto was, we can give some spotlight to Cameron.

It's just that it can occasionally be awkward (given the cracks in his laugh) and make it less menacing for what seems like it should be for a Mark Hamill-like portrayal. I.E a Joker who's definitely a prankster and a- clown, but who's also sinister and downright diabolical

​​@@kingshekk6882 he starts out young but he is by far the oldest looking joker by the end. A true representation of the character. Jerome was a dead ringer for the joker but young. Jeremiah is not a wannabe especially in his finale form. The one where he gets knocked out. I think its the fact they sound young that youre judging. For keoghan and monaghan it was intentional. Keoghan's laugh is like a child's. As i said though monaghan's final look is just straight up the joker and probably the oldest looking version of rhe character ever on film.

Jared Leto was a different kind of Joker, but honestly I kinda like it to a degree. He added a certain ,don’t laugh, sexiness (I know you laughed I told you not to) to him. He still felt insane, but not to the point that he was out of control, he felt like he had some sort of rein on himself and that’s what made him kinda edgier, that he still chose to let go. Either way I take bits and pieces from each Joker to put them together into my own for my own personal cannon and ,cough cough,fanfics.
