I thought SNL mocking a speech impediment she had as a kid was over the line-mean and tacky. But props to Jojo for taking it in stride. I like her and I don’t get why people are hating on the music video so much, like it’s so “over the top” and “crazy”. Every pop singer is doing very similar stuff. High concept, highly stylized artistic design, costuming and makeup paired with a catchy song.The dancing is a little more than most but I think Jojo and the rest of the dancers kill it. Even if it’s not your cup of tea, it’s art, it’s got its own vibe, and nothing about it seems “crazy” to me.

Because 1. Jojo only released this song to distract the public from the xomgpop allegations that she and her mom are abusing and exploiting minors. One of them said they force a teenager to perform despite a bleeding belly button and a post surgery operation. 2. Jojo caught up in so many lies. Implying that she/he wrote or at least changed the melody of this song. In her interview they said that the bridge was monotonous and she asked the producers to make it wavy (however jojo sang exactly how Brit Smith did 10 years ago).she also said she invented gay pop 😂 Even though Lady Gaga and many others has been doing this. 3. It's all cringey honestly. heavily autotuned, unnecessary dry humping, seizure like dance moves, unrelated music video? So Yes. Bad artist. Bad person.

I did pageants and despite my autism I was able to win national titles against girls from across the world. So, no- I really don’t think it’s too much to ask of a 20 year old. I’ve seen children act more respectable and genuine/authentic than Jojo and I don’t mean that as a diss this is just fact. Even if I was never obsessed I was rlly into the music videos and some of her regular videos when I was younger, she was always influencing younger kids to be themselves and be expressive. Like she said “she made a big dramatic change” and it’s gonna affect the kids who used to watch her. Yeah kids now are a lot more dirty minded and stuff but there’s plenty who grow up watching Jojo and now they probably don’t know what to think or expect of themselves or her.
